To enable smart public transport, ITRI cooperated with Hsinchu County Government, Yosemite Bus, Mobiletron Electronics Co., Ltd., and Maxwin Technology to provide self-driving electric bus shuttle service between Zhubei City downtown area and the nearby high-speed rail station. The service will be the first self-driving bus commercial route in Taiwan, bringing the development of autonomous vehicles to a new level.
In May, French company EasyMile, debuted the EZ10 autonomous shuttle at Taipei’s National Taiwan University. NAVYA, one of the InnoVEX exhibitors, just launched its autonomous shuttle ARMA in Las Vegas! ARMA is the first autonomous electric shuttle to hit a U.S. street, and the route will run from January 11 to 20.
