Cebu may not be on most people's to-go list but that doesn't mean its beaches are less stunning... as my photos will show.
And if you planning to head there, only Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa will do simply because there's only just one word to describe it - breathtaking. Well, it's kids-friendly too but I have a feeling you already know that. :)
The plan was to visit Bohol after our 3-night stay in Cebu but all that got blown away due to a typhoon threat that is due to hit the region this weekend.
Disappointed yes, but also appreciative that Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa hosted us for an additional night and Cebu Pacific Air rescheduled our return flight so ever promptly.

If the monkies have to choose one highlight of our Cebu trip, it has got to be the Marine Sanctuary at Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa.
It spans six hectares, and is teeming with fishes, clams and corals. And the best part? It is just at the resort's beachfront!
Any wonder that the monkies chose to snorkel every single day then?
