ทีมเบสบอลของโรงเรียนเล็กๆ แห่งนี้ พลิกเอาชนะทีมบิ๊กๆ ที่เป็นตัวเก็งจากทั่วประเทศมาได้ครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่าแบบเส้นยาแดงผ่าแปด ด้วยฝีมือเอสตัวขว้างสุดหล่อชื่อโยชิดะ โคเซย์ (เขียนด้วยตัว 輝星 แปลว่าดวงดาวที่ส่องประกาย ชื่อก็พระเอกการ์ตูนไปอี๊ก)
