The modern urban lifestyle concept store “Getgo” at Riverson now has more items in their flagship store like HGC Meatball (Honey Garlic Cheese), streaky beef croissant sandwich, blueberry nai ping (iced blueberry milk) on top of their best selling Getgo’s signature meatballs, oden, sushi, cakes and pastries etc…it’s a place where you will enjoy your “metime” or “wetime” in usual daily routine schedule.

They are also doing CSR by donating RM1 to Persatuan Pengurusan Pusat Penjagaan OKU Leshan Kota Kinabalu for every transaction in Getgo!

Best part: It’s just a 2-min walk from the new station on the Thomson-East Coast line to @helloarigato.official, a newly opened Japanese-inspired cafe in the hood that serves up sandos, donburis, pastas and more.

Everything we had was yum (from the Gyu Sando to the Miso Buta Don and Kinoko Pasta) but if you’re not that hungry, please at least try the Musubi Shi (breaded spam Japanese rice “sandwich”) and the cruffins... Check the pics!

Heard great things about the Otah Sando too, but we didn’t manage to fit it into our tummies that day... Gotta head back to do it sometime! 🤤

I had the loveliest Premium Afternoon Tea Set (HKD688 for 2 pax) at @viviennewestwoodcafehk last weekend with my best friend. This place is so well-located and inside the Fashion Walk. The tea set includes the luxury wagyu beef katsu sandwich which is the highlighted item. The smoked salmon roll and the seared shrimp with mango and cherry tomatoes salad are so refreshing and perfect for summer as well. All savouries and sweets are served at the signature Vivienne Westwood's pattern plate. Do you have any upcoming plans for this weekend?

Boardwalk Snacks 'Jaws Frappe : Blue Hawaii'(850yen, 7.8USD). The fruits sauce looks like a blood, made of strawberry, blueberry and black berry. The top of the Frappe is whipped cream and the surfboard is white chocolate. They are suitable for summer, aren't they?

We are making our favorite hamburger using a beef patty, a thick slice of tomato and lots of lettuce. It's easier to eat if you put this in a hamburger wrapper. Place the skewered hamburger in the wrapper and gently remove the skewer. Now, bite into the burger with all your might!

How to Make Beef Hamburger

[Patties]
200g Gound Beef (7.1 oz)
1/3 tsp Salt
Pepper
50g Onion, finely chopped (1.8 oz)
3 tbsp Panko
2 tbsp Milk
Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp Water, to cook the meat

[Sauce]
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
2 tbsp Tonkatsu Sauce, if not available, check out the recipe notes below
1-2 tsp Water
1 tsp Butter

2 Hamburger Buns
Butter
Whole Grain Mustard

2 slices Cheddar Cheese
2 slices Tomato, 1 cm/0.4 inch thick
20g Red Onion, thinly sliced (0.7 oz)
1 Pickle, chopped
2-3 Loose Leaf Lettuce Leaves
