🚨美國NBA暢銷書作家與台灣插畫師合作NBA新書—王朝，將於十月全球發行！🚨

去年12月，受美國樺榭圖書集團Hachette Book Group委託，繪製美國NBA暢銷書作家Marcus Thompson的籃球新書— 王朝。

這本書的內容主要是介紹十個改變籃球賽事風氣的籃球王朝，從最早的湖人王朝到近代勇士的王朝，內容非常豐富。

此次合作包含封面與內頁，我總共替這本書繪製了46張插畫，為期三個半月，沒日沒夜的創作並與出版社對稿，沒有過聖誕節也沒有過農曆春節，終於完成了這段時間的心血結晶！

不僅僅是出版社的創意團隊，連行銷團隊看到第一階段的插畫交稿後，都開心也興奮不已的問：「整本書都會是以這樣品質的插畫呈現嗎？太好了！選對插畫師了！」

知道世界頂級的出版集團的團隊有這樣的反應，我真的是很受寵若驚，而目前這本書已經可以開始預購，預計今年十月五日上架書店！

回想起2015年畢業時心血來潮繪製美國夢幻隊的的練習創作，竟然帶給我後來這些難得的封面插畫工作機會，應驗了作品集中放上什麼樣的創作，未來的客戶就會因為這樣的作品找上你。

波蘭插畫家筆下的香港|
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩

在一個地方生活久了，便很容易忽視了身邊的事；但從旅行者的視角，反而能發現香港獨有的魅力。

而@mateuszkolek 的 “The things I have seen but Didn’t have a smartphone” (我沒有手機時看過的東西）一系列的插畫，紀錄了他在香港四個月的一些所見所聞。大膽的線條和色彩，不真實地，但又準確地描繪出當時的環境和氣氛。粗黑線條亦給他的作品多了一份戲劇感。繪畫的性質亦給了Mateusz的作品更多構圖，角度，和故事的自由度。

Mateusz在香港期間，作為一個旅行者，相比起計劃好的景點，他更希望暫時脫離網路，專注在當下的環境中尋找刺激與靈感。或許返璞歸真，才能體會到旅行的重正意義。

Oftentimes, tourists’ sights could provide a different perspective to a place, and discover unexpected charms of a city. Mateusz Kolek once spent 4 months in Hong Kong, and explored the city without the aid of internet nor camera.

A series of illustrations “The things I have seen but Didn’t have a smartphone” by Mateusz Kolek, recorded his experience in Hong Kong. Bold lines and colours, surrealistically, but accurately depicted the environment and the mood. The bold black lines create a dramatic situation. The nature of drawing gives Mateusz flexibility in composition, perspective, and storytelling.

Perhaps, returning to the ordinary, is the only way to experience the true meaning of traveling.
