一踏入八月，日本各个地方就开始举办盆踊り大
会(Bon Odori) ，主要的目的是以音乐和舞蹈来祭奠逝去的祖先和亲友，跟我们的盂兰盛会有点异曲同工之妙。 盆踊り大会通常中间会立个高台，有人会击打太鼓，然后舞者会绕着高台跳舞，这里不是大地方，人没有很多，我感觉像小型的园游会多一点。

July 7th & 8th | Comicfest ID Jakarta , Indonesia

21st & 22nd July | Visual Arts Expo + Bon Odori

28th & 29th July | Japan Expo @ Pavilion KL

It's been awhile since my last update on Facebook , I'm not gone entirely because I'm pretty active on my Youtube + Instagram !
Rest assured , I will still update my page regarding event schedules , cosplay related posts and videos ! <3

I took June off events for my new born kitten , MilkTea. She is the only child of my BabyG and EarlGrey. She is growing up fast now she is almost 1 month old ! :)

Comicfest ID might be my last Jakarta event for this year so for all my lovely friends in Jakarta ~ don't forget to come and have fun with me !! <3

Please note that for VAX , I will have my own booth and I will attend Bon Odori after the event. As for Japan Expo , I will not have booth but there will be meet and greet sessions !

THE Obon festival is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honour the spirits of one’s ancestors. The Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur recently marked the festivity with a Bon Odori event and dance.

The Japanese have been marking the festival for more than half a century, features a dance performance known as Bon Odori.

The Bon Odori dance is accompanied by traditional folk songs.
