วิกฤติโควิด-19 ทำให้สมาร์ทโฟนเข้ามามีบทบาทในทุกภาคธุรกิจ รวมไปถึงการท่องเที่ยวมากยิ่งขึ้น ตั้งแต่หน้าร้านออนไลน์ ระบบขนส่ง การ Check-in โรงแรมจนถึงการจ่ายเงินแบบ cashless และ contactless เช่นธุรกิจส่งอาหาร ร้าน grocery ออนไลน์ รวมไปถึงการเข้าถึงข้อมูลของแบรนด์ต่าง ๆ และการกดรับโปรโมชัน เก็บคูปองไว้ในมือถือเพื่อใช้เมื่อเดินทาง

หลายบริษัทในจีนใช้จังหวะนี้ก้าวปรับตัวเข้าสู่ Digital Transformation แบบเต็มตัว อย่างแบรนด์ luxury เช่น Gucci และ Louis Vuitton ก็เปิดช่องทางขายบน WeChat ทำให้สามารถรักษาฐานลูกค้าเก่า และขยายฐานลูกค้าใหม่บนโลกออนไลน์ได้

# เริ่ม...ใส่ใจเรื่องสุขภาพ และครอบครัว

จากการศึกษากับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 700 คน ของ McKinsey นอกจาก COVID-19 จะทำให้ตลาด e-commerce ในจีนจะเติบโตแบบก้าวกระโดดแล้ว การระบาดยังเปลี่ยนต่อทัศนคติของคนจีน ในช่วงวัย 20-30 ปีที่ไม่เคยเห็นวิกฤติเศรษฐกิจในระดับโลกมาก่อน สินค้าที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความมั่นคงในอนาคต เช่น ยารักษาโรค อาหารสุขภาพ วิตามิน อุปกรณ์ออกกำลังกาย และประกันชีวิต มีแนวโน้มที่จะเติบโตขึ้นอีก

โอกาสของธุรกิจไทย คือการศึกษาพฤติกรรมของผู้บริโภคสินค้าในกลุ่ม Gen Y โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มครอบครัวที่มีผู้สูงอายุ และเด็ก ซึ่งมีความเสี่ยงต่อไวรัสโคโรน่า จะมีความตื่นตัวในเรื่องสุขภาพสูงกว่ากลุ่มอื่น

ในด้านของการท่องเที่ยว ทางททท. ยังให้ข้อมูลว่าหลัง COVID-19 กระแส wellness ทำให้การท่องเที่ยวแนว medical tourism ได้รับความนิยม โดยไม่ใช่เพียงเที่ยวเพื่อการรักษาในสถานพยาบาลเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการท่องเที่ยวเพื่อการบำรุงสุขภาพ และพักผ่อนจากความเครียด ปลายทางของ medical tourism จึงเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวธรรมชาติที่เงียบสงบ

# เริ่ม...สื่อสาร และกระตุ้นความอยากของผู้บริโภค

ในระยะที่ประเทศจีนเริ่มฟื้นตัว ความต้องการในการบริโภคก็เริ่มฟื้นตัวด้วย นี่เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ “ใครเริ่มก่อน ได้เปรียบ” ในช่วงเวลานี้

มากกว่าแค่การลงสินค้าบน T-Mall หรือการพึ่งตัวแทนขายในประเทศจีน ถึงเวลาที่แบรนด์จะต้องสร้างบ้านที่แข็งแรงบน social media จีนเพื่อให้สื่อสารกับลูกค้าได้ตลอด ไม่ว่าจะอยู่ในวิกฤติใด สร้างฐานลูกค้าผู้พักดีในระยะยาว โดยเฉพาะ WeChat ที่มีผู้ใช้งานมากที่สุด และใช้เป็นช่องทางขายได้ยกตัวอย่างเช่นแบรนด์ Mistine ในประเทศจีน ที่สามารถสร้างฐานลูกค้าที่แข็งแรงทั้งบน WeChat และ Little Red Book (ภาษาจีนเรียก เสี่ยวหงซู 小红书)

การทำแคมเปญสื่อสารแต่เนิ่น ๆ ทำให้แบรนด์สามารถเก็บข้อมูลไปทำโฆษณาแบบ remarketing ได้ต่อ และเป็นการขยายฐานลูกค้าอีกด้วย

# เริ่ม...ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม

ถึงแม้จีนจะถูกมองว่าเป็นประเทศอุตสาหกรรมที่ปลอย CO2 มากเป็นอันดับ 1 ของโลก แต่คนรุ่นใหม่ก็เริ่มมีความพยายามลุกขึ้นมา ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อมกันมากขึ้น กว่า 70% ของกลุ่มสำรวจยอมรับว่าซื้อสินค้า eco – friendly มากขึ้นในช่วงโควิด เพราะเริ่มมีความตระหนักถึงสังคมรอบตัวมากขึ้นกว่าเดิมตลาด eco-friendly จึงนับเป็นตลาดใหม่ในจีนที่น่าจับตามอง

จากเทรนด์นี้ การใส่ความ รักษ์โลก ลงไปในสินค้า หรือบริการ ก็เป็นทางหนึ่งที่ช่วยเพิ่มคุณค่าให้แบรนด์ไทยได้ เช่นการใช้วัสดุธรรมชาติเป็นบรรจุภัณฑ์ หรือ การสร้างเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์
