Wah Banana Ensemble. It's been 3 years since I first joined Wah Banana. Yes time soars. One of the great things about Wah Banana is that it has a big enough heart to open it's doors to new talent. As if that wasn't enough, they have given me support as I expanded Eden Ang Productions. Wah Banana has spring boarded me into a career in entertainment I so yearned for. I still remember the days I first joined Wah Banana... Our hopes were up, bright-eyed bushy-tailed, excited to make a change in the YouTube world. I probably practiced my Types Of Waiters" song only about 200 times the night before. When the video came out, lots of compliments came our way. Yet a huge board of negativity came our way. We were said to be totally fake versions and lousy spin offs of the original cast. We were told we weren't funny and we should just f**k off pretty much. "Bring back Foxy and the rest" were the bulk of what we heard. Yet, the Wah Banana team held their fort and guarded us from the negativity, encouraging us to push on. They faced the negativity and took the risks needed to let us work and shine. Lingyi & Jason, thank you. We've had our ups and downs, and creative differences. But I tell you this is a strong strong ensemble you're looking at. And Wah Banana will continue to succeed.There are some new faces in Wah Banana, yes change isn't easy, but change can be for the better. Please be kind to these new ones entering the industry, as they will be the stars of tomorrow. In this world of hate, negativity is slowly becoming the social norm.
