Will Wright ผู้ให้กำเนิดเกมตระกูล The Sims และ SimCity ได้ประกาศเปิดให้เล่นเกมมือถือใหม่ชื่อว่า "Proxi" เป็นเกมแนว Simulation ที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และออกแบบมาเพื่อให้ผู้เล่นได้เดินทางค้นหาตนเอง

Proxi เป็นเกมที่ให้ผู้เล่นได้สร้างไดโอรามาแห่งความทรงจำ โดยใช้ไอเทมในเกมมาประกอบรวมกันขึ้นมาเป็น Avatar ส่วนตัวก่อนที่จะส่ง Avatar ดังกล่าวออกไปโต้ตอบกับผู้เล่นคนอื่น ๆ ภายในเกม โดยทีมพัฒนาระบุว่ารูปแบบการเล่นดังกล่าวจะช่วยให้ผู้เล่นได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับ "จิตใต้สำนึกของตนเอง" มากยิ่งขึ้น

นอกจากส่วนของการเล่นหลักดังกล่าวระบบหลักอีกอย่างของ Proxi ก็คือเนื้อหาในรูปแบบที่ผู้เล่นเป็นคนสร้างขึ้นแบบเดียวกับเกมฮิตอย่าง Roblox โดยทีมงานระบุว่าผู้เล่นสามารถหารายได้จากในเกมได้จริงผ่าน NFT และทุกอย่างภายในเกมก็เป็น NFT ที่สามารถซื้อขายได้จริง

Proxi เป็นเกมมือถือที่เปิดตัวครั้งแรกในปี 2018 แล้วพัฒนาต่อเนื่องจนถึงปัจจุบัน รวมถึงเป็นผลงานเกมล่าสุดของ Will Wright ในรอบ 10 ปี ตั้งแต่เกม Spore ซึ่งออกวางจำหน่ายครั้งแรกในปี 2008
