Opened in 1966 - Traditional HK/Guangzhou style Wonton Noodles【六座雲吞麵 Six's Noodles, Tsim Sha Tsui, HK 🇭🇰】It's ironic to see so many tourists or foodies arrive into HK and still eat 麥奀記 Mak's noodles, when that has 1stly branched off into so many of its diff families own Brands with family feuds, some even have gone busted already along the process. 麥記 ＆麥穂記 comes instantly into mind, folding so fast 98% of locals didn't even noticed they existed, let alone Travelers to HK 😳 Welcome to high turnovers & stupid rental lvl in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 2ndly, Mak's noodles is now fully commercialized or franchised overseas, and the 3rd Generation son who looked after it has already left to open his own smaller, manageable Mak Ming Kee 麥明記 shops (Tin Hau shop tastes much better btw) .

Back to this 1966 opened shop, the Wonton soup recipe is accurate as per the Mak's equation, it's also sprinkled on top with Toasted Shrimp Roes, not dissimilar to previous 車品品's 魯肉餃. The original shop is from Lam Tin 藍田第六座, it moved to Jordan for a while, before relocating to this location around 3 years ago. The Signature Dish here to me however isn't their Wonton Noodles..
