My heart skipped a beat when I stepped on the set last night.
Watching how the entire production worked at full speed and how they were so filled with passion reminded me of the good pre-pandemic times!
What a rare and fun opportunity to be able to host and watch a live performance after months of being on lockdown! My heart is full 🥰
Big applause to @jaotimkl and @grabmy for keeping live entertainment alive by bringing #LiveKatRumah to the comfort of people’s homes.

遲了玩Facebook page,失去了最當打儲fans的年代,現在又要再用新渠道build up,遊戲真難玩。
#社媒煙噬:一手交錢,一手交Reach!我們過份依賴Facebook嗎?
今早最大的新聞,一定是Facebook在個別國家測試將Personal與Page Post分家。以後不付廣告費,Page Post可能入不到主Feed (Personal Feed)。
先是Buzz Sumo報導Facebook Interaction由2017年開始至今年7月大跌20%!基本上已經令大家非常惶恐。今天斯洛伐克傳媒Dennik N的記者Filip Struhárik,發表文章「Biggest drop in Facebook organic reach we have ever seen」,表示在其國家Page Post已經被Facebook放入Secondary Feed (名為Explore Feed);而Primary Feed (即Personal Feed)只會顯示家人朋友,或Sponsored Posts。
新測試對我們有甚麼影響呢?
試想想Facebook其實已經將我們的Newsfeed由順時間序變成打亂時序。無錯,我們是可以由Top Stories轉回Most Recent的顯示方式,但有幾多用戶願意轉呢?慣性收視始終是有保證。所以當Facebook把所有Page Post移至Explore Feed,那就等於把Organic Reach降至零。
Filip Struhárik利用Crowdtangle (Facebook買來的一個內容分析工具)來看斯洛伐克Top Facebook Page的Organic Reach,發現自上星期四Facebook開始了上述測試之後,Organic Reach失去了1/3,而Interaction少了4倍!
另外,危地馬拉、柬埔寨都受影響。據報,塞爾維亞、玻利維亞及斯里蘭卡都是實行這測試的國家。
以往Facebook降Organic Reach已經不是新聞。大家見到這些報導,最多Share來笑笑,然後鬧Facebook又找方法來騙錢。但Organic Reach變成零呢,那就不是行騙是強搶!
Explore Feed又是甚麼呢?
如果所有Page Post會移至Explore Feed,那很理想的想法就是,所有我Like了的Page當中的Post都會在Explore Feed見到。要不是,怎麼會叫做「移至」呢?Sorry,好像不是。大家不如到進入Explore Feed看看(點選facebook app 右下角Menu掣 ->探索-> 查看更多,火箭icon就是),大部份在其上的內容,都是來自我沒有Like的Page,實在很難「Explore」到幾分鐘。
如是這樣,那麼其實Page Post是幾近消失!而不是移至Explore Feed!除非在那6個Test Market,Explore Feed是有所不同的 (Facebook說的確是不同,但沒有清楚說怎樣不同)。
對Facebook,我們無計可施嗎?
短期內,當然是找辦法叫你的Fans打開你專頁的Notification,或剔選See First;但這也是非常短期的做法。只要Facebook一改動,我們就無計可施。
Facebook說並無意把這測試功能真正推出市場 (There is no current plan to roll this out beyond these test countries or to charge pages on Facebook to pay for all their distribution in News Feed or Explore.),但現行的測試會維持幾個月。老老實實,零Organic Reach,對一些較為小的專頁,應該捱不到一個月就可以死去了。OK,就算不是零Organic Reach,我們也要為將來打算。
長遠計,當然就是不能(單)靠Facebook,而且要Grow自己的Owned Media。而事實上,Filip Struhárik的文章中亦有說:
Traffic to biggest Slovak media sites didn’t change significantly since we have new Explore Feed and people can’t find posts by pages in their newsfeed. Really big media have many regular readers, strong homepage, notifications, newsletters… so Facebook changes didn’t hurt them so much yet. But we already see a drop in smaller media site’s traffic.
這就是減低Facebook對閣下影響的方法。有自家的Owned Media,例如自己的App,自家的Notification系統,以及其他Channel等。這都是比建立Facebook專頁更花時間。當Facebook的Organic Reach一直下滑,大家做內容的成本就算不提升,這已經令內容的曝光時間與機會大大削減。因此除非你已經預算了在Facebook落廣告,否則做了的內容沒有人看(先不說有沒有人讚),做出來仍是沒有價值的。
這對傳媒尤其重要。現在傳媒都在爭賣廣告Feed,但其實這到最後都是為Facebook投資與打工——廣告收入有一大部份最後都會流到Facebook的口袋裡。
