COPING MECHANISM
Hey y'all idk why but for some reasons I've been feeling so sluggish lately, hence all the piled-up work. I've been slumping back to reading way too much manga, which has never been a good sign. Piece: Kanojo no Kioku was the last one I read last night and the storyline really tugged at my heartstrings. I don't know how to respond. Should I cry? Should I not cry? It's a mess. Sometimes I feel like I've escaped the reality way too often. Am I carefree or a coward, who knows, you never know. When do I get back to my senses. It's a rhetorical question.
It's nice to know the comfort of another language. You're not forced to face your own emotion in its rawest form. You have the option of becoming a stranger looking at yourself through a different lens, maybe a rose-tinted one. I guess my biggest dream is to "get" it. Like reaaally "get" it. Get what the author means in their language. I'd like to live out the life of the main character. It's so stuffy yet thrilling. I can't get out of the trap of that temptation. I am really a mess inside. But I kinda love it.
I guess I'm just too interesting to me. Doesn't matter how long I've been digging, there's still emotion overflowing. So complex. So sophisticated. How could I ever live for another when I can't take my eyes off of myself. This is the worst case of narcissism lol. But even just a person, thank you for listening. I guess my heart was crying.
