I came on my UNHCR ประเทศไทย mission to Cox’s Bazaar in Bangladesh this week.
The Rohingya Refugee Crisis is the fastest growing refugee crisis in the world. The number has now grown to 900,000 and they are in urgent need for help and humanitarian support. Kutupalong Camp is the world’s largest and most congested refugee camp.
55 percent of the population in the camp are children. This trip was one of the most heartbreaking trips I’ve ever experienced in my many years of working with UNHCR, the tragedies these resilient people have experienced is unspeakable.
We must work together in the international community to offer our help and support to the Rohingya and the Bangladeshi People and government.
