About the Unity Ribbon
The Unity Ribbon is a piece of hope every Malaysian can wear and be proud to be Malaysian. Launched in April 2018, the Unity Ribbon aims to not only advance the message of unity and hope but also to get the much needed conversation on unity started amongst everyday Malaysians.
Handmade by Orang Asli Youths, university students, volunteers, and partners, the Unity Ribbon has seen partners in corporates including Allianz, CZipLee, Jaya Grocer, Majalah Pendidik, myNEWS.com, Nando’s, and Touch N’ Go as well as tertiary institutions. To date, more than 90,000 Unity Ribbons have been sold with its profits going towards Orang Asli education and empowerment programs.
