Let’s celebrate The Macallan Red Collection
‘A dream of old’ is in Hong Kong K11 musea now

The Red Collection is an exquisite range of distinguished and rare single malt Scotch whiskies which captures The Macallan’s deep respect for tradition and craftsmanship.

At the heart of The Red Collection is The Macallan 40 Years Old, The Macallan 50 Years Old and
The Macallan 60 Years Old. These remarkable single malts, which will anchor the range, are the oldest ongoing expressions ever offered by The Macallan and will be available in limited quantities globally. Impressive in the collection are the guest expressions of 71, 74 and 78 Years Old that marks some of the oldest whiskies ever released by The Macallan.

參加Peated Malts of Distinction 泥煤威士忌晚宴，同Suntory global ambassador John Cashman一齊試咗4個唔同身材嘅「大隻佬」（泥煤威士忌），包括第一次係香港launch嘅Ardmore12年，飲落好甜美，係Highland少有嘅泥煤威士忌，覺得似講嘢好sweet嘅大隻仔！跟住試咗黎自愛爾蘭嘅冇年份Connemara，飮落好滑好light，尾段d泥煤先出，似講嘢溫柔嘅大隻仔。跟著試今年新出嘅Laphroaig Lore, 嘩！好勁嘅通渠佬呀！非常泥煤，尾段有d澀，點知一食蜜糖合桃之後d澀冇咗，然後d蜜糖、果仁味勁出！最後慢慢欣賞Bowmore23年，好優雅同非常有層次，好George Clooney呀！What else?!😉😍
Attended Peated Malt of Distinction whisky dinner, meeting 4 different muscular men (peated whiskies) with Suntory's global ambassador John Cashman, including Ardmore 12yo (first time launch in HK), it tastes quite sweet & easy to drink (one of the rare peated whiskies from Highland), just like a sweet & muscular guy! Then I tried Connermara (no age statement) from Ireland, it's very smooth and light with peated notes in the finish, which is like a muscular guy who speaks softly. Here comes the macho man, Laphroaig Lore, a new product in 2016! It's very medicinal & peaty with some bitterness in the finish. But after I ate the honey walnut and sip it again, the bitterness is gone & the honey, nutty & spicy notes r enriched! Awesome! It's really enjoyable to end the meal with the elegant & complicated Bowmore 23yo! It's so enjoyable & it's just like George Clooney! Sooo attractive! What else?! 😉😍
