We truly do love the river safari. It offers the same elements but it’s a lot cooler/sheltered, and a shorter more manageable visit for us.
The squirrel monkey enclosure is super fun- they roam free and you can spot them scaling trees and walking across vines.
P/S: Tien is a superstar and doesn’t feel like taking family wefies sometimes. So pss and get go in for a consolation couple selfie. 🥲

The second longest river in Malaysia, the Kinabatangan River is home to one of the most complex ecosystems in Borneo. Go on a river safari and experience the Borneo rainforest and a chance of wildlife sightings such as orangutans, macaques, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, snakes and lizards. This is also a perfect destination for bird watching.

I’m delighted by the birth of a healthy panda cub to Kai Kai and Jia Jia at the River Safari!
It is famously difficult for pandas in captivity to reproduce. Pandas have only a narrow window each year to conceive. This is the 7th attempt for Kai Kai and Jia Jia. Their keepers deserve kudos for this difficult and rare accomplishment, and for persevering despite previous failures.
Congratulations to the team at Wildlife Reserves Singapore for this success, as well as for breeding many other endangered species in their care. Hope to visit the new arrival soon! 🐼 – LHL
