Went on a #jalanjalan to Jewel Changi Airport a few weekends back. Saw many others out and about doing the same.
The Changi Airport Terminals 1 and 3 have reopened to the public this week, with additional safeguards, after more than three months of closure due to the pandemic. My thanks to the airport community for their hard work and for keeping Changi Airport running. – LHL

Holy crap. I'm on a plane.
It has been almost 2 years since I last travelled and to be honest, I was definitely nervous to be at the airport (and was certainly nervous to be travelling to a place where COVID cases are no bueno). However, I must say the pre-departure forms & logistics, the flight itself, and arrival process was honestly not as daunting as I thought it'd be.
I just uploaded a vlog on my Youtube channel sharing more about the process so I hope this helps those of you who may also be considering travelling as countries slowly open up for international travels again!
On a personal level, I admittedly haven't bit hit as hard as some friends I know who have been struggling a lot with being homesick / feeling trapped. While I've yearned to hop on a plane to go on a vacation and see my family (it's been 1.5 years since I last saw my parents and siblings!), it seemed like travelling for leisure or personal reasons would be impossible as a work visa holder in Singapore. However, with Singapore announcing the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) with Germany and Brunei, I’m hoping things will ease up soon and all of us can be reunited with our families soon ❤️
Cheered to read of this initiative by a group of Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore officers calling themselves ‘Friends for Aviation’. To show appreciation to frontline workers at Changi Airport, they are giving out S$50 EZ-Link cards to about 1,000 workers including cleaners, trolley and baggage handlers. It will help with their transport costs, as workers now need to travel more often for more frequent routine COVID-19 tests.
The recent COVID-19 outbreak at the airport saw the closure of Jewel, T1 and T3 to the public for a month for cleaning and disinfection, as well as aggressive testing of airport workers. Thanks to a massive effort and everyone’s cooperation, Jewel has re-opened this week.
My thanks to all airport workers for keeping Changi Airport running, and Singapore connected to the world. Keep up the good work, and let us see through this together. – LHL

Flying back from Atlanta to Hong Kong in 2020 was a real experience. It's crazy the difference I saw flying domestic then flying international, people please wear a mask if not for yourself for the people around you. I know some people out there saying it violates your human rights or its stupid you only wear one if you have covid.. No please wear one so I feel safe around you. Be safe and considerate everyone.

As of August 2020, international flights that can enter Thailand are banned indefinitely except for special flights.
Many domestic and international flights are currently closed.
However, domestic flights have resumed. Although the number of flights is still small compared to now, it is now possible to fly from Bangkok to various places.
The inside of the airport has changed a lot before the flight restrictions were applied.
There are many stores and bank branches that have closed due to the decline in airport usage.
On the other hand, there is also a bus route to Pattaya that has resumed business due to the resumption of domestic flights.
The bus to Pattaya that resumed from August. It departed every 3 hours on this day.
Although the taxi rank is operating. I never saw the passengers.

When I was taking a taxi to Don Muang Airport, I saw a child walking over the parapet of the bridge at a certain place.
It looked so strange that I actually went there.
