- Luyện Speaking Part 1 mỗi ngày nào. Chủ đề hôm nay của chúng ta là gì? Crowded Place nhé cả nhà. Thử thách cùng Ms.Quỳnh thôi!
Q: What kind of places are crowded in where you’re living now?
A: I’m living in Hanoi so the city seems to be hectic all the time, especially, the old quarter area - the heart of the city where streets are often jam-packed, and if you take a stroll in this area during the weekend, you’ll be surprised by how large the crowd is.
Q: Do you like crowded place?
A: It depends on what sort of crowded place you’re referring to. I love being in the crowd where people there share the same interests as I do or at least there’s some people that I know like a concert for example. But I don’t enjoy being around lots of strangers, I’ll start to feel extremely overwhelmed and anxious, and I tend to keep myself to myself because of my social awkwardness. Besides it feels very unpleasant when being pushed and shoved in overcrowded places.
Q: When was the last time you were in crowded place?
A: Last month I took a trip to Ha Long, also a major tourist destination in Vietnam. It was only the beginning of the summer but there were thousands of people on the beach which was jaw-dropping. But then I managed to find a good spot to sit on the shore because it was pretty chaotic down the beach.
Q: Do you prefer to go to crowded places or places that have few people?
A: Honestly, I’m always overwhelmed by the daily crunch of urban life, so I would definitely go for tranquil places where I can surround myself with relative silence and a sense of calm.

You can do anything as long as you keep fuelling that passion and focus on the energy that keeps your spirit alive.
Refuelling may sound like an easy peasy thing to do, but how many of us have made a little mess out of it before?
Well, I did! 😂 From fuel splash backs upon the first click of the nozzle, to frantically looking for a cloth to wipe what overflowed.
Thankfully, I don't experience any of that anymore because I now know how to prevent it by ensuring that the nozzle is shoved all the way down into the tank instead of leaving it near the tip before clicking for fuel because motorcycles tend to have a shorter filler neck vs cars.
I've also learnt to refrain from refuelling all the way to the brim of the tank, as this not only lowers the chance of fuel overflowing, but to also leave some air gap for fuel expansion when it heats up.
Do you know of any other helpful tips when refuelling?
Feel free to share them with me in the comments below and oh yes, don't forget to redeem those complimentary #Shell fuel vouchers when you sign up with @DirectasiaInsurance 🙌🏻
Ride safe, fuel safe and stay safe guys!

Ok that was an exaggeration, it was 3000ft above the Paro Valley in Bhutan, roughly 9km round trip hike (some parts steep, some parts ok), and 750 steps down/up) to the majestic monastery perched precariously on the side of a cliff - the Tiger's Nest!
.
For someone who didn't train and had hiked/ trekked maybe ONCE in my life at outward bound school aged 13, I was PRETTY proud of myself and @mint_g !
.
Pictures do NO justice to this magnificent ancient architectural spiritual structure! Did i see the crystallised clarity my naive mind was searching for?... can't say i did. BUT Bhutan gave me so much more:
.
1.Friendship (our tour guides @druk_nim @i_m_bhutanese were there EVERY step of the way, answering every whim, questions that popped into our minds), and they did so with absolute genuine patience (cuz BOY we had a tonne of questions!)
.
2. Gratitude (for a place where people thought the way they did, unperturbed by the many distractions of the current world and the speed at which it's moving
.
3. Negative Carbon emission (I mean common right?!)
.
I could go on but it'll take me 3 days
.
Perhaps, this pandemic is teaching us to look back, to move forward? Be content, connect more with human, not phone. If you have to, with phone or computers - relay the right messages, and use digitisation for the good of man? (Much like how we are being shoved into improving e-commerce, online everything right now).
.
THANK YOU BHUTAN
I wish you well and I hope to see you AGAIN!

The Philadelphia 76ers appeared
headed for their first loss of the season. Then Sportsmanship
Award winner Eric Snow was ejected for fighting.
Snow's shoving match with Tracy McGrady and ensuing ejection
sparked the 76ers, who rallied without their point guard for an
87-83 victory over the Orlando Magic.
The Sixers had just one free throw in the first five minutes of
the fourth quarter as the Magic opened a 72-68 lead. With 6:26
left, McGrady went up for a lane jumper and took exception to a
foul by Snow.
McGrady said something to Snow, who responded by putting his
finger in McGrady's chest. McGrady put both hands on Snow's
face and shoved him and both players were ejected.
"I said, `Get out of my face,'" Snow said. "He pushed me in the
face and I walked away clapping and they kicked us both out."
"I don't tough you, you don't touch me," McGrady said. "Don't
put your hands on me. And I retaliated after that. He touched
me and I reached out and that was that."
Snow sneered when his reputation as a hard but clean player was
brought up, while Magic coach Doc Rivers said his player should
have seen it coming.
"Sportsmanship? What's that got to do with anything?" Snow
said. "I didn't initiate it, you know what I'm saying? And I
don't care who you are in this league, you can be the best
samaritan in the world, but if someone pushes you, you got to
defend yourself."
"I try to tell Tracy that he is the target now," Rivers said.
"Guys are going to push and hit him, but if he's struggling
offensively, he can't get frustrated that he lets anybody get
under his skin."
Sixers players and coach Larry Brown argued the ejection of Snow
and center Theo Ratliff drew a technical foul. Orlando guard
Darrell Armstrong made the free throw for a 73-68 lead but the
Magic scored just seven points thereafter.
McGrady's departure hurt the Magic, who had to rely on a hobbled
Grant Hill and struggled to score down the stretch. Meanwhile,
Vernon Maxwell came on for Snow and teamed with fellow guards
Allen Iverson and Aaron McKie to score all of Philadelphia's 19
points in the final six minutes.
"Yeah, it fired us up. We were kind of (ticked) off," McKie
said. "McGrady takes a blow at his face and we get the stiff,
but we're a confident group. We've been in several games like
this throughout last season. You have to expect games like
this. These are the games you like to win."
Iverson scored 29 points and McKie contributed 14, drilling two
big 3-pointers down the stretch. Theo Ratliff added 14 points
and a career-high 17 rebounds for the Sixers (3-0), who won in
Orlando during the regular season for the first time since April
1, 1997, ending a five-game skid.
"These guys (Sixers) have been waiting for the opportunity to do
some big things out on the basketball court," Iverson said.
"They hear everything you write about us not having a shot
because we don't have the talent. But now, a lot of heads are
starting to turn and people recognize there's other guys that
are capable of doing big-time things in this league."
