From the years of my chef career, I have learnt that we, who are living in the cities are so disconnected with nature and the sources of our foods. To a lot of us, money = food. We are neglecting there are so many hard works that have been put into growing the produces and prepping the foods. I do think a lot on how to raise my boys to be happy people. One way I have thought of is to let them see as many things as possible, including seeing what and how things are made so that we can have these foods on our table. If a person doesn’t understand how all things don’t just appear in front of us with just money, I don’t think this person would be grateful ever.
