🚩第一站，Diane與台中的學生見面交流，討論當前的美台關係；這些學生雖然年紀輕輕，但對於外交政策和全球挑戰可是有著非常深刻的見解！
🚩下一站，Diane拜訪了台中遠近馳名的展演中心—臺中國家歌劇院 National Taichung Theater，並討論未來可能的美台文化交流合作計畫。
🚩接著，Diane與台中地區的傅爾布萊特學者會面，進一步了解中台灣的英語教學概況，並討論AIT如何能夠協助台灣達成2030雙語化的目標。
🚩最後，Diane拜訪了全台第一個美國資料中心—台中美國資料中心，自從2005年成立以來，每年都有將近13萬名的訪客入館挖寶。如果你有機會到台中，推薦大家參觀台中美國資料中心，多樣豐富的美國書籍和文化活動等著你探索！

💡What is Public Diplomacy? Are you curious to know what's a day like for AIT’s Public Diplomacy officer? We had a chance to tag along to Taichung and see Public Diplomacy Section Chief Diane Sovereign in action!
🚩First stop- She made a speech and engaged with students on U.S.-Taiwan Relations. Even though young, they didn’t hold back their thought-provoking hard questions on foreign policy and global challenges.
🚩Second stop- Because she helps establish cultural exchange between the United States and Taiwan, Diane visited the 臺中國家歌劇院 National Taichung Theater National Taichung Theater to explore future collaborations with this prominent art hub.
🚩Third stop- Diane also met with Fulbright alumni to better understand trends related to English language education in Central Taiwan and more importantly how AIT can help Taiwan meet its Bilingual Nation 2030 goals.
🚩Last but not the least, if you are ever in Taichung, make sure to visit Taiwan’s first American Corner, established in 2005. Diane was one of the 130,000 visitors each year to step into a space that helps the people of Taiwan better understand America.
