有人跟我一樣，曾經聽過這首歌嗎？在《猛禽小隊：小丑女大解放》，當小丑女（Harley Quinn）端著四杯綠色調酒，要跟朋友享用，卻聽到幾個沒良心閨蜜嘲笑自己，過沒幾天一定又會跑去跟 Mr. J 求和，於是心有不甘，決心一定要跟小丑斷個徹底，然後頭也不回地扯掉頸子上的 Mr. J 項鍊，跑去炸掉化學工廠。當時，整個橋段背後的配樂，就是這首〈我恨我自己愛上你〉（I Hate Myself for Loving You, 1988）。

I Hate Myself for Loving You 是 Joan Jett 和黑心合唱團（Black Hearts）在1988年Up Your Alley專輯裡的一首歌，隔年還獲得葛萊美最佳搖滾團體獎的提名。不過，Joan Jett 更有名的一首歌是 1982年的I Love Rock 'n' Roll。Jett 因此以搖滾女王和龐克教母聞名。

在《猛禽小隊》，小丑女在分手的橋段，背景音樂的 I Hate Myself for Loving You 唱了好長一段，看看歌詞就能明白，為何這首背景配樂選得真好，歌詞心情完完全全跟小丑女的現實境遇一樣（配合小丑女的情境翻譯）：

這幾段歌詞真傳神，完全是小丑女的現實翻版。因為這段恨意，於是她決心復仇，接著就去炸毀兩人定情的化學工廠了。
