Twenty nineteen.
The last few months of the year passed by in a blur, ever since I birthed the tiny one wrapped in the Dino bundle you see in the collage.
I can hardly recall what my life was like before the days of maternity clothes, succumbing to food cravings, accepting MRT seats from kind strangers. Then confinement meals and living in three-quart bottoms and greasy hair at home. And finally, saying goodbye to the nanny, and hello to staring at baby monitors, midnight feeds and greeting a smiley baby every morning.
But this #2019bestnine collage is a good reminder.
The past 2 year-ends I've been happily involved in exciting projects - working for @johnlegend , and then for National Heritage Board's hawker diorama. While I don't have too much to show on the work front this year sadly, my creation in 2019 has got to be my most life-changing one yet.
In the new year, I hope to get back to work properly (sorry to all the senders of emails and messages I've not replied yet 🙏🏻) with more workshops and sculpting projects, and to also embrace parenthood with the husband, and all the joys and challenges it comes with.
Onward to a new decade! ☺️
