大家都不喜歡 2001 年 9 月 11 日，紐約出了驚天動地的大事，而有一件事比 9/11 事件更糟：剩下的 9 月，美國好萊塢景氣因此慘淡。我大膽決定，這是動畫電影《#吸血鬼獵人D》 (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust) 在美國票房慘淡的原因，因為我找不到觀眾會討厭《吸血鬼獵人 D》的其他原因。這是一部動畫史上的無疑傑作、這是動作電影的經典、這是一部風格混亂到不行的電影、但它卻融合出一種統一的奇妙風味——如同人類最終還是成為了吸血鬼的家畜。

黑暗絕美《吸血鬼獵人 D》台灣終於正式上映！謝謝光年映畫讓我搶先看到這部如此經典的動畫電影。一直對吸血鬼題材著迷的我，怎麼能錯過著名奇幻小說家菊地秀行 x 世界級藝術家天野喜孝 x日式暴力美學的代表川尻善昭這個夢幻組合的作品！
有關吸血鬼題材的藝術作品往往逃不開「死」與「愛」這兩個永恆主題，當我們感受著吸血鬼的孤獨、絕望和無力感時，潛藏在心底那份最原始的、最不可名狀又根深蒂固的無名恐懼被瞬間激活，這可能就是吸血鬼歷久不衰的浪漫魅力吧！
電影中核戰爭的爆發致使人類文明退化到接近中世紀的水平，在這片大陸上，凌駕於人類的統治者——吸血鬼貴族雖然正面臨著原因不明的物種衰退，但仍然威脅著人類生存，在這樣的背景下獵殺吸血鬼的職業獵人應運而生，其中又因為人與吸血鬼貴族的混血兒兼備了吸血鬼和人類兩方的優點，理所當然的成為了最理想的獵人。然而這些被稱為「Dhampir」的混血兒，一方面受到吸血鬼族群的敵視，另一方面也不被人類認同，裡面的主角D就是一位孤獨、邊緣化、保護人類卻不被理解的吸血鬼獵人，在光明與黑暗的狹縫中生存，遭遇著永無止境的排斥卻依然意志堅決。
「即使是黑色外套胸口處藍色墜飾發出的神秘光輝，也遠遜於旅人帽下的美貌」和「一名年輕人沐浴於月光下，仿佛黑暗本身結晶凝聚，化為人形一樣。」在角色形象的塑造上，菊地秀行每卷都會花大量筆墨來描寫D的美貌，絲毫不吝惜讚美的詞句，近乎見縫插針地擠滿故事的各個角落。而享譽世界的天野喜孝足足調教了一代人的審美風格，臉型消瘦，尖下巴，眼角銳利，透出複雜的情感，一點點孤傲輕蔑，又隱含一點點黯然，冷峻的神色活像個高貴的異域王子。
2000 年左右接連於加拿大蒙特婁國際奇幻影展、雪梨奧林匹克藝術節、南韓釜山國際影展亮相，2001 年在日本上映的《吸血鬼獵人 D》動畫電影，一問世便造成轟動，品質可以說是當年的巔峰。可惜台灣雖發行過 DVD 卻一直沒有登上大銀幕上映。
20年後的今天，終于光年映畫要把這部電影帶來台灣啦！目前《吸血鬼獵人 D》電影版，預定將自 9 月 17 日（明天）起在台上映，台灣的朋友們不要錯過囉～ ❤️
