Fear Street เป็นนิยายชุดแบบจบในเล่ม ผลงานของ R.L.Stine (ผู้เขียนหนังสือชุด Goosebumps) แต่ละเล่มว่าด้วยเรื่องราวเหตุฆาตกรรมลึกลับซ่อนเงื่อน (หรือเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติในบางที) ซึ่งอุบัติขึ้นบนถนนชื่อ Fear Street โลเกชั่นหลักในเรื่องที่ทุกตัวละครพำนักอาศัย

Fear Street เล่มแรกออกในปี 1989 ปัจจุบันมีทั้งหมด 51 เล่ม ยังไม่นับรวมไลน์อัพแยกย่อยตอนพิเศษอีกมากมายที่เขียนมาถลุงเงินถุงเงินถังเด็กนักศึกษา โดยจะมีไตรภาคชุดพิเศษชื่อ The Fear Street Saga ที่เล่าถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของถนน Fear Street ซึ่งเชื่อมโยงถึงครอบครัวเก่าแก่ต้องคำสาปที่เคยพำนักบนถนนเส้นนี้ตั้งแต่ยุคสงครามกลางเมือง - - บรรยากาศ และพล๊อตของ Fear Street แต่ละเล่มคือสวรรค์ของคนรักหนัง slasher เพราะมันอบอวลไปด้วยเรื่องราวฆาตกรรมตามสูตรสำเร็จของหนังแนวทางนี้ ในแต่ละเล่มคุณจะได้พบกับเรื่องกลุ่มเด็กสาวที่ได้รับการ์ดวาเลนไทน์ขู่ฆ่าในเทศกาลแห่งความรัก, สองสาวที่บังเอิญโทรศัพท์ไปแกล้งชาวบ้าน แต่ดันโทรติดบ้านที่เกิดเหตุฆาตกรรม, สาวใสที่เริ่มต้นเดตกับหนุ่มในฝันก่อนจะค้นพบว่าเขาอาจเป็นฆาตกรต่อเนื่อง, กลุ่มวัยรุ่นจัดปาร์ตี้งานฮาโลวีน ก่อนที่สมาชิกจะเริ่มถูกฆ่าจากฆาตกรที่แฝงตัวในกลุ่ม ฯลฯ

Fear Street คือความสนุกในแบบที่ R.L.Stine พึงมอบให้เด็กวัยรุ่นได้ย่างเท้าก้าวสู่โลกของหนังไล่เชือด ผสมปริศนาในทาง whodunit (ใครคือฆาตกรในหมู่เรา) Fear Street บรรจุความกลัว และความกล้ามากกว่า Goosebumps ที่ปราศจากความตาย และเรื่องรักโรแมนซ์ เนื่องด้วยกลุ่มผู้อ่านที่เจริญวุฒิภาวะขึ้นมา ทำให้ Fear Street เป็นนิยายฆาตกรรมวัยรุ่นวุ่นแล้วหวีด ที่สนุก เปี่ยมเสน่ห์ มีความเป็น chick-lit หน่อย ๆ (วรรณกรรมเจาะกลุ่มผู้อ่านเพศหญิง เพราะตัวละครหลักส่วนใหญ่ในทุกเล่มเป็นผู้หญิง) และไม่ติดเรตเป็นแนวเลือดสาด 18+ จนเกินงาม

ถึงแม้หนังสือจะมีความระทึกขวัญขั้น PG-13 แต่ตัวหนังได้ปรับเลเวลขึ้นมาจนกลายเป็นเรต R ก็ต้องลุ้นล่ะว่า ฉบับหนังจะโหด เลือดสาดแค่ไหน
เราเข้าใจว่าทั้ง 3 ภาค เป็นการดึงเอาองค์ประกอบจากในนิยายหลาย ๆ เล่ม หรือ mythology เกี่ยวกับประวัติของถนน Fear Street มาโขลกผนวกเข้าด้วยกัน

Fear Street Part Two: 1978 (ฉาย 9 กรกฎาคม)
ปี 1978 เกิดเหตุสยองบนแคมป์ Nightwing อุบัติขึ้น ซึ่งมีที่มาจากตำนานเมืองในอดีต บรรดาเจ้าหน้าที่ และชาวค่ายจึงต้องร่วมมือกันหาคำตอบให้ได้ว่าอะไรอยู่เบื้องหลังเหตุนองเลือดในครั้งนี้

Fear Street Part Three: 1666 (ฉาย 16 กรกฎาคม) ย้อนกลับไปในปี 1666 บนอาณานิคมแห่งหนึ่งที่ถูกครอบงำจากขบวนการล่าแม่มด กลุ่มเด็กวัยรุ่นที่หลงเหลือจากปี 1994 ต้องรวมพลังกันเพื่อชำระคำสาปแช่งอันเป็นต้นตอของเรื่องเลวร้ายบนถนน Fear Street

ผู้กำกับ Leigh Janiak ให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า Fear Street คืองานคารวะหนังสยองในดวงใจ ภาค 1994 นั้น รับแรงบันดาลใจจาก Scream ส่วน 1984 จะให้ฟีลแบบหนัง Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween ส่วนภาค 1666 นั้นเป็นเหมือนภาพสะท้อนสังคมอันล่มสลายในหนังอีพิคเรื่อง The New World ของ Terrence Malick
ทั้งสามภาคจะให้บรรยากาศที่แตกต่างกัน แต่รับประกันความสนุก หวีด ผวา ดราม่า โรแมนติก แฟนตาซี แน่นอน

映画祭も延期になり、時間をかけて作った現代における新しい神話アニメーションも公開延期にする事に。その期間もう少しアップデートしますのでその時を楽しみにお待ちください🌄

以下、私のstatementです。
新作「あめつちのうた」
いまここにいる私たちも、島々を渡る鳥や海を泳ぐ魚、森に棲むいきものたちも、すべては「生」を宿した存在で、自然の一部だと感じる。
このように豊かな自然と生命の関わりはどのようにして育まれたのでしょう。はじめに天と地があり、海と島々が現れ、そこに命が宿った瞬間に私は遭遇してみたい。
風や木、水や石、山や野、火や雷など、さまざまな自然の要素のなかに小さな魂を持った存在が息づく様子を、糸と糸でつなぎとめ、私なりの「あめつちのうた」を描きました。
Ametsuchi no Uta
Everything imbued with life is part of nature, including the people living today (us), the birds that fly from island to island, the fish that swim in the sea, and the creatures in the forest.
How did this lush natural world and animal life come about? I want to see the moment when the heavens and earth began, the oceans and islands appeared, and life came into being.
I created my own Ametsuchi no Uta—“song of heaven and earth,” the oldest perfect pangram in the Japanese language, written in the 9th century—tying together, stitch by stitch, images of things possessing tiny spirits breathing among the wide variety of natural elements, the wind and trees, water and rocks, mountains and fields, and fire and lightning.
