【台美TIFA成果豐碩 持續深化台美關係！】
第11屆台美TIFA本日登場，我方由鄧振中政務委員及蕭美琴大使致開幕詞，由楊珍妮副總談判代表為主談人，而會議主題涵蓋 #供應鏈、醫療器材、智慧財產權、數位貿易、金融服務、貿易便捷化等重要議題，重點在於 #深化台美關係 與 #疫後復甦。
綜整鄧政委、蕭大使及楊副總談判代表於開幕時之致詞，此次TIFA會議成果是集結台美雙方長久的努力，台灣亦展現與國際接軌的決心，並累積美國朝野支持與我方重啟貿易對話的信心與動能，未來希望藉由TIFA平台深化台美關係，逐步邁向自由貿易協定。
The 11th #Taiwan-#US Trade and Investment Framework Agreement talks took place this morning online. Both Minister without Portfolio John Deng and Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao gave opening addresses before the event, while Deputy Trade Representative Jen-ni Yang was negotiating on Taiwan’s part.
Minister Deng stated that the #TIFA talks pave the way for the prosperity of both nations, creating more job opportunities, adding that he hopes ties can deepen further through the platform, paving the way for the establishment of a free trade agreement.
Ambassador Hsiao stated Taiwan’s determination to align itself with international values and standards and made reference to the support Taiwan has enjoyed from both sides of the aisle in the United States. She said that TIFA is an important foundation in terms of friendship and trust in moving towards the negotiation of a #BTA.
Deputy Trade Representative Yang praised the efforts from both sides that allowed the talks to happen, adding that the framework is an important platform for issues of common concern, such as the environment, labor issues, and the digital economy.
