Apple 在 9 月 12 日，發表 2017三款新機，包含 iPhone 8、iPhone 8 Plus、iPhone X，當中十週年紀念款 iPhone X 最受矚目。採用 2K 解析度的，19.5：9 比例的5.8吋全螢幕，材質上也改用 OLED。並主打TrueDepth 相機模組，可用來Face ID 臉部辨識，以及使用 animoji 動態表情貼圖。主相機則採用雙鏡頭設計，同時都具備光學防手震，並加入人像燈光模式。硬體上採用最新的 A11 Bionic 六核心處理器、3GB記憶體，儲存空間分別為 64GB、256GB，空機建議售價 NT$ 35,900、NT$ 41,500。並於 10/27 開始預購、11/3 正式上市。

Adobe 在今年2016/06推出了Creative Cloud軟體的更新版本，其中Photoshop CC 也提供了許多新功能 （版本 2015.5，數字版本17.0.1），包括了辨識照片中人物的臉部，並調整五官修飾，可自動辨識眼睛、鼻子、嘴巴及其他臉部特徵。這其實是一個濾鏡的效果【液化】，不過Adobe官網都稱呼為【臉部感知液化】Face-Aware Liquify，臉部感知液化適用於修飾人像照片，這段影片介紹液化濾鏡的用法。可以把模特兒變成櫻桃小嘴、高挺嬶子、眼睛變大、把面無表情變成開懷大笑，是個非常實用有趣的功能。
