天氣開始轉涼,各類大型活動都相繼舉行,如著名的戶外音樂會及每年一度的行山活動。難得有特別節目,當然要玩得盡興。以為一次半次沒相干,原來超出身體負荷的體力勞動會耗損氣血,當氣血虛弱時,就會出現口淡淡的情況,吃東西總覺得不夠味道。例如劇烈運動後,吃糖水也會忽然感覺味道淡淡的,但休息一兩天後再吃同樣的東西,味道就回來了。同樣情況也會出現在做完大手術的病人身上,也是因為氣血損耗的原因。最重要的不是怪責食物的烹調調味出現了問題,還是要先好好休息,讓元氣恢復!

When participating at these events, most people will make the most out of it and have a good time. What people may not realize is that they may over exhaust their bodies leading to asthenic qi and blood. This can cause tastelessness and it seems like everything is flavorless. Another example is when after intense exercise, even desserts seem to have no taste, but if you rest for a day or two, the same dish will taste great again. The same can also happen after a big surgery and it's also due to exhausting your qi and blood. It's important not to think it has something to do with the cooking, just give your body a rest and the flavors would return!
