《膠攝現場》作為一個攝影平台，推廣本地攝影文化不遺膠力，今次借助Nikon發佈Z7ii嘅機會邀請HKDI同學仔參與構思及創作這一次攝影作品《轉形•傳承》“Transform and transit”

13張照片利用Z7ii相機配合NIKKOR Z超卓光學威力，重新呈現Nikon相機從50年代至今的演進。

Singapore’s leading media entertainment and content company MM2 Entertainment Singapore is delighted to announce the release dates for a slate of Singapore films for 2020 and 2021.

“We are extremely excited to share this slate of Singapore-made movies, including the first local film to release in 2020. It has not been a good year for Singapore moviegoers, with the pandemic causing havoc to the releases to Hollywood and Asian movies. Every year there is a steady stream of new Singapore movies released in cinemas. This year, however, due to the pandemic and the circuit breaker, there has not been any local releases to date. We are therefore proud to be releasing this slate of Singapore films, for Singaporeans,” says Mr Ng Say Yong, Chief Content Officer of mm2 Asia.

“These films are uplifting stories that are certain to entertain moviegoers, and very relevant to our times. It is especially important in this time when we need to be socially distant, that we are still able to connect with the community through the shared cinematic experience. Laughing together, crying together - the group effect of watching a film together in a theatre: that is what cannot be replicated at home or on a mobile screen,” he continues.

Number 1 will be the first Singapore film to be released in 2020. The film portrays a man who gets retrenched and must take on an unorthodox job as a means of survival. The movie will resonate with moviegoers, in this current climate where the local jobless rate is the highest in more than a decade. Local funnyman Mark Lee delivers a career-defining performance in the challenging role of the film’s lead; and has been nominated for top acting honours at this year’s Golden Horse Awards in November.

Additionally, mm2 has announced an exciting slate of local films scheduled for release up to June 2021. The list of films includes comedies, dramas, horrors and thrillers - offering a wide variety of cinematic options guaranteed to please even the most discerning movie lover. Included in the list are Jack Neo’s The Diam Diam Era 1 & 2 slated for the year-end school holidays and Chinese New Year respectively, as well as Mark Lee’s directorial debut Running Ghost.

Paraben tốt hay xấu?

Đầu tuần chúng mình bàn về một thành phần từng gây nhiều tranh cãi và hiện giờ vẫn còn nhiều người dè chừng khi mua mỹ phẩm có chứa thành phần này nhé.

Paraben.

Paraben là một nhóm các chất hóa học được sử dụng trong mỹ phẩm như một chất bảo quản giúp ngăn chặn vi khuẩn và nấm mốc, sản phẩm có chứa Paraben có thể tồn tại trong nhiều tháng thậm chí nhiều năm.

Paraben thường xuất hiện trong bảng thành phần mỹ phẩm dưới các tên phổ biến dễ nhận biết với đuôi- paraben như sau: Butylparaben- Isobutylparaben- Propylparaben- Methylparaben- Ethylparaben.

Từ năm 1950s thì Paraben đã được sử dụng rộng rãi trong mỹ phẩm bởi nó dịu nhẹ và không gây kích ứng cho da. Không chỉ có trong sản phẩm skincare và makeup, paraben còn xuất hiện trong lăn khử mùi, dầu gội, thuốc đánh răng, chất tẩy rửa và một số loại thuốc bôi trị nấm da.

Sau này khi có nhiều người nghiên cứu hơn thì Paraben trở thành mối lo ngại trong việc dẫn tới nguy cơ gây ung thư vú ở con người khi vào năm 2004 một số nhà nghiên cứu phát hiện ra Paraben xuất hiện trong mô vú của bệnh nhân ung thư vú, và đưa ra giả thuyết rằng đặc tính estrogen của paraben có nguy cơ làm phát triển ung thư vú.

Giả thuyết này làm mọi người lo ngại rất nhiều về việc sử dụng sản phẩm có chứa paraben.

Nhưng tiếp sau đó, có rất rất nhiều nghiên cứu khác từ các tổ chức đánh giá thành phần mỹ phẩm, các hiệp hội liên quan đến sức khỏe- y tế- ung thư từ các nước trên thế giới đều đưa đến kết luận: Paraben được dùng một lượng nhỏ trong mỹ phẩm không gây hại tới sức khỏe con người.
FDA (Cục quản lý Thực phẩm và Dược phẩm Hoa Kỳ) cũng không có quy định riêng nào nào cho chất bảo quản trong mỹ phẩm như Paraben.

Nên với tâm lý của một người tiêu dùng sống giữa quá nhiều mỹ phẩm chứa paraben hiện nay thì mình sẽ có hai lựa chọn sau:

1. Ưu tiên sử dụng sản phẩm mà thành phần có ghi Paraben-free, cứ phương án đảm bảo an toàn hơn sẽ được ưu tiên, cứ sản phẩm mình thích mà còn có paraben-free thì mình nhặt dùng luôn không đắn đo suy nghĩ.

2. Nếu có rất thích trải nghiệm 1 sản phẩm nào đó nhưng thành phần lại có paraben thì mình sẽ nhìn vào brand xem có đủ uy tín để bỏ tiền ra mua hay không.

Ví dụ như trong ảnh này, đây là routine chăm da mấy hôm nay của mình. Tất cả các món đều paraben-free trừ nước thần và kem dưỡng của SkII. Lúc mình biết sản phẩm SkII có chứa paraben mình cũng hơi chần chừ nhưng sau đó vẫn quyết định chi 5 triệu cho một chai facial treatment essence thì chắc chắn là nhờ sự uy tín suốt 40 năm nay của SKII rùi.

Bà Hoàng Đồng Nát là series xoay quanh đồ cũ mà trọng tâm chủ yếu là quần áo cũ. Tớ sẽ cùng các cậu dọc ngang phố phường để đi ngược về quá khứ, tìm mua và phục chế những món đồ từ xa xưa.
