七月中，我倆到訪墨西哥、美國，展開了我們的蜜月之旅。墨西哥，你聯想到是甚麼?tapas?美國和墨西哥之間的圍牆?我想到的是瑪雅文明。

Chichén-Itzá， 世界新七大奇蹟之一；還記得到訪那天天氣炎熱，約三十九度，走了幾步已汗流浹背，但我們還是跟隨着導遊的步伐，用心的聽着他說出有關瑪雅文明的一切；圖中的是Pyramid of Kukulcán，說是金字塔，其實它的形狀並非像埃及的金字塔般，它的外形並非一個四角錐體。它是一座廟，用作供奉它們的羽蛇神。然而，瑪雅人十分有智慧，善用頻率，只要你站在廟下拍手三下，你會聽到Kukulkán的回音，正是他們Kukulkan神的名稱。

另外，這座廟的設計亦是吸入成千上萬到訪的原因，正方形底座每邊石階有91級，加上最頂的一層剛好是365級(代表365日)。於每年春分和秋分的日出和日落時分，陽光射向金字塔北面的梯級，層層的梯級的影子分身為大蛇身體的影子，加上廟正面的底部有羽蛇神的雕像，情景就像羽蛇神從天而降。Pyramid of Kukulcán建到如此精密，嘖嘖稱奇，真的感到不往此行。

We visited Mexico and the United States in July for our honeymoon trip. What would you recall when talking about Mexico? Tapas? The fence between the United States and Mexico? Iol. Mine is about Mayan civilization.

Chichén-Itzá is one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. It was a super hot date when we went there. With an outdoor temperature of thirty-nine degrees, we sweated so much everytime for walking a few steps. Anyway, we hired a guide and listened to his explanation on every detail of Mayan civilisation. The picture presents the famous Pyramid of Kukulcán. It is unlike those in Egypt, and its shape is not a quadrangular. (The impression of quadrangular is just visual effect.) The temple is to worship Kukulcán. The talented Mayans designed the pyramid in a way that you will hear the reflection of sound “Kukulcán” when you clapped your hands 3 times.

What is more fascinating to attach so many visitors every year is that the temple has 91 steps each side and, with the top layer, the temple has 365 steps symbolising the 365 days. During a particular year of time, the shadow of steps during sunrise and sunset will looks like a grant snake featuring the arrival and departure of Kukulcán. The temple is so dedicated that you will amaze the creativity of Mayan.
