［ #空間設計｜新世代的圖書館定義］
「數位原住民的新世代，具有很強的自學能力，那對於他們來說，為什麼需要圖書館？」
回想最後一次進到圖書館的經驗，先經過櫃台換證，接著來到書櫃陳列的樓層，嘗試找到少數的座位區，卻打開電腦做著下週課堂要交的報告。偶爾，會起身尋找參考書籍，但所需要的資料，好像網上都具備齊全了。
泰國建築事務所 Department of Architecture Co. 調查青年世代對於圖書館的使用者需求，重新定義圖書館的用途，設計朱拉隆功大學建築系系圖 Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University。

Department of Architecture Co. 認為圖書館、乃至於建築系系圖是「以人為中心、創造連結的空間」，包含與人、與書籍、與場域出現的所有物件、材質的連結。
進到建築系圖的一樓，為灰泥材質的開放空間，不需要檢查證件和書包，而是桌椅都能夠移動的co-working space和展覽空間。
專訪中更提到，共享工作空間的設計，是因為建築系大多有學期製作、畢業製作的必修課，需要大面積空間做模型、討論、看圖。在開放空間裡，將會有不同屆的學長姐走過、路過，產生對話與交流。

爬完關於朱拉建築系圖後，除了很想轉學（誤）之外，非常欣賞系方願意打破對於學習場域、乃至於圖書館的想像。我們通常會認為上大學就該精進課業，就像進入圖書館就該安靜埋頭苦讀，而常常忘記抬頭看看旁邊的同學是多麽有趣。
相較於台灣大學，朱拉隆功大學作為學術性大學，同時也有建築系、美術系，空間的設計更應該成為學生交流的催化器。回應近期台灣大學推動 未來大學施工中 Future in Progress 、學生奪回學習主控權的計畫，私心希望學校可以參考朱拉從空間下手的案例。
（但朱拉建築系學生，很多人都成為知名歌手、演員，又是另一回事了⋯⋯）
