An explosive of Bubble Tea outlets opened in Penang for the past few weeks and one of the latest additions is Chatto 茶社, a brand said to have more than 20 branches nationwide. It specializes in offering healthier and less-sweetened beverages. The Tea leaves are sourced from countries like China, Taiwan and Japan; apart from quality Tea, the place also offers light snacks like Taiyaki. Our verdict? Bolder Tea flavour, the concoction felt more refreshing as compared to others. We agreed that the sweetness was cleverly balanced. It did portrait that “healthier” image.
