🌟 #Paan Ice Cream, at newly opened @carat.tst side. HKD $62 🌿🌿
U couldn't have guessed Hong Kong actually has the Cult status Paan flavored ice cream served nowadays 😧, the Bettel leaves based stimulant Chew with Areca nut, etc. This one is obviously Tobacco free 無煙草, but still almost a 精神食糧 in many parts of Asia especially near India continent. Imagine eating this whilst smoking a Shisha 🤭🤭

🌟 Angoori Rasmalai $88 was made super well here with house made cottage cheese, milk & almonds 👍🏻👍🏻
🔸Pista Kulfi with Pistachio $88 is not bad here, but I have had better versions with a stronger pistachio & spices presence. In hindsight, we could have ordered Makhana Lotus Seed Kulfi
🔸Gulab Jamun $68 has a very good texture, probably the best I have tried in HK. But it's slightly let down by too cloying sweet Syrup comparatively speaking, which can also carry more Rose 🌹 flavor. Can be easily fixed to become the best available in town tho!

Everyone has weaknesses in life. Mine is for a Kulfi Falooda served sundae style, with falooda sev noodles, rose syrup, condensed milk, pistachio ice cream, dry fruits, etc. HKD $75 😍
A bit different from your other Kulfi options, the yellowish noodles underneath as a dessert is fun to chew. This version is also a bit more green/white than red. It also reminds me a bit of #Cendol which can be served as an icy drink or as a dessert bowl, with somehow resembling noodles like textures within 🥣

*Forgot to attach other food I ate here. But I will always come back, since I love their #Chaat street food options so much

We got some delicious kulfi (traditional Indian ice cream) and gave it to strangers from around the world in NYC’s Times Square. Kulfi is a unique Indian delicacy made from sweetened milk, giving it a unique dense and creamy texture. It’s one of the most amazing Indian street foods I’ve ever had! And these Americans' reaction to trying this traditional Indian food for the first time was amazing!
We gave strangers flavors including malai kulfi, kesar pista kulfi, and mango kulfi! Many of them absolutely loved these unique Indian flavors which included ingredients like cardamom, saffron, and almond. If you’re curious, the brand of kulfi we used is Vadilal kulfi (they did not sponsor the video, but their kulfi is really delicious!).

A compilation of amazing desserts in India: Kulfi, Falooda, and Ice Gola
Falooda (Hindi: फ़ालूदा) (Urdu: فالودہ) (Bengali: ফালুদা) (also Faluda), is a cold dessert popular in the Indian subcontinent. Traditionally it is made from mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, psyllium (ispaghol) or basil (sabza/takmaria) seeds, tapioca pearls and pieces of gelatin with milk or water. Vermicelli used for preparing faloodeh is made from arrowroot whereas vermicelli used in the Indian version is usually made from wheat.
Kulfi is a popular frozen dairy dessert from the Indian Subcontinent. It is often described as "traditional Indian ice cream". It is popular throughout India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Burma (Myanmar), and the Middle East, and widely available in Indian restaurants in Australia, Europe, East Asia and North America. As popularly understood, Kulfi has similarities to ice cream in appearance and taste; however it is denser and creamier. It comes in various flavours. The more traditional ones are cream (malai), rose, mango, cardamom (elaichi), saffron (kesar or zafran), and pistachio. There are newer variations such as apple, orange, strawberry, peanut, and avocado. Unlike Western ice creams, kulfi is not whipped, resulting in a solid, dense frozen dessert similar to traditional custard-based ice cream. Thus, it is sometimes considered a distinct category of frozen dairy-based dessert. Due to its density, kulfi takes a longer time to melt than Western ice cream.
Ice gola is India's variation of a popsicle sticks. Crushed/shaved ice is molded into a cone shape and doused with flavored syrups and juices. Kala Khatta is a syrup made from the jambul fruit in India and some other parts of South Asia. It is primarily used as a flavoring for Indian ice lollipops or popsicles, sold as street food. Crushed ice is formed into a lump by hand and mounted on a stick to make the lollipop. Kala khatta syrup and seasonings such as salt and pepper are then poured on the lollipop.
