因為面部的防護也變成網狀,雖然不會起霧,但在一窩蜂的瘋狂攻擊下,大量的荷爾蒙和毒液噴到鼻子嘴巴,吃起來不怎樣,但鼻子被刺激的鼻涕一直流。我雖然有帶護目鏡,後來汗水和毒液一起流進眼睛...一整個痛得眼淚一直流...😭
下次要把防疫的面罩拿來用啦!
Because the new suit’s the face protection was changed to a mesh, which caused the wasp to spray venom on the nose and mouth, and the nasal cavity felt tingling and start to runny nose. The venom still ran into the eyes with sweat, which was very painful.I will think about using the anti-epidemic mask next time.
在一堆黑腹虎頭蜂的攻擊之下,要在樹上爬梯子、綁好繩子、用電鋸,真的是不容易。教練說我鋸樹技巧還待加強~但今天至少是有進步,可以完成這些事項🥰,雖然最後收尾還是教練幫忙。
Under the attack of a bunch of wasps, it’s really hard to climb a ladder, tie a rope, and saw the tree by a chainsaw. My captain said that my tree sawing skills need to be strengthened~ but I have improved today, least I can complete these things by myself.

鼻屎反映身體狀況
不少人談鼻屎色變,覺得骯髒得很,其實鼻屎的角色非常重要,鼻屎是鼻腔分泌物的凝固物,包含了鼻黏液、灰塵和空氣微粒等,而鼻黏液是抵擋外來細菌的第一道防線。就像鼻涕一樣,我們可以憑鼻屎觀察身體狀況,如果黏稠鼻屎突然增多,可能身體有熱,例如多吃煎炸、油膩、燒烤、辛辣等食物。如果鼻屎清稀而多、色白,是感受了風邪和寒邪。如果鼻屎很乾甚至帶有血絲,代表身體受燥邪及熱邪影響,例如天氣乾燥的秋冬天特別容易發現帶血的鼻屎。
不似耳屎會慢慢自行排出,鼻屎需要我們自行清理,但頻密程度因人而異,當發覺鼻涕比較多、經常出入多塵環境,或者感到鼻子癢癢、呼吸不太暢順像鼻塞時,就是時候清清鼻屎了。清理鼻屎前宜先洗手,以免把細菌帶進鼻腔中引致感染情況,亦要記得動作要輕柔,以免令脆弱的鼻黏膜受傷。如果鼻屎很多,需要每天清理才能呼吸暢順的話,有可能鼻腔出現毛病,例如鼻竇發炎,宜諮詢註冊中醫師治理。

Boogers reflect the body’s health condition
Many people think boogers, which are made up of nasal discharge, dusts and air particles, are filthy and do not wish to talk about it, but they play an important role as the front liner against bacteria.
Just like mucus, we can identify a person’s health by his or her boogers. If boogers are sticky and come in a large volume, it could mean the body has heat, and the person might have eaten fried, greasy, barbecued and spicy food.
If the mucus is clear, appears in a large quantity, as well as white in color, it could mean that the person might have encountered the wind and cold pathogens. If the boogers are dry and contain streaks of blood, it could mean the body is affected by the dry and heat pathogens, especially during the dry autumn and winter seasons.
Unlike earwax, which will go away on its own, we have to clean boogers ourselves. When we notice boogers in a large quantity, this might mean we are in contact with a dusty environment; or when our nose feels itchy and we cannot breathe properly, it is time to clean them out. It is best to wash our hands first to prevent bacterial infection through the nose, and remember to clean it gently to avoid hurting the tender nasal mucosa.
If there is a constant large amount of boogers that needs to be removed daily, there could potentially be problems with the nasal cavity, for instance, sinus inflammation. Do consult registered and licensed Chinese medicine practitioner for medical solutions if this occurs.

立秋過後,有否感到一點「燥」意?秋天屬金,金主肺,秋氣與人體的肺氣相通,肺為嬌臟,喜潤惡燥,而「燥」為秋季的主氣,秋燥最易傷肺,容易引起呼吸道問題,例如鼻黏膜、嘴唇、口腔感到乾燥、氣管不適、流鼻血,亦容易引起燥咳,伴隨症狀為喉嚨乾痛、無痰或少痰(質黏難吐出)、痰有血絲等。
中醫理論認為「肺主皮毛」,秋燥亦容易令皮膚乾燥、乾裂、痕癢甚至敏感,或者引起濕疹發作。而「肺與大腸相表裡」,秋燥亦會引致大便乾結甚至便秘症狀。
對付秋燥,一字記之曰:潤!適量進食有滋陰潤燥功效的飲食,例如雪梨、雪耳、花旗參、百合、芝麻、蜂蜜、枇杷、石斛、杏仁、海底椰、玉竹、沙參等。避免熬夜、進食辛辣、煎炸食物,以免加速耗損身體津液。亦要減少進食薑、蔥、蒜、辣椒等辛辣發散之物,以避免耗散陽氣。不忘每日飲米水,強健脾胃功能,才能有效吸收食材中潤肺滋陰的功效。

Body’s reaction going into fall
Do you feel a little ‘dry’ in the beginning of autumn? Autumn belongs to the element of gold, and gold manages the lungs. When autumn’s qi interacts with the qi in the human lungs, which is a moist-loving delicate organ, and the dryness can affect the lungs the most. This will lead to breathing problems such as dryness in the nasal mucosa, lips and oral cavity, breathing discomfort, nose bleeding, dry cough. Other accompanying symptoms are dry and painful throat, the absence or small amount of thick gooey phlegm, and blood-streaked phlegm.
According to Chinese Medicine theories, lungs are the master of the skins and hair, autumn dryness often leads to dry, cracked, and itchy skin and even causes skin sensitivity as well as eczema. ‘Lungs and large intestines have an interior-exterior relationship’, autumn dryness might also cause symptoms like dry stool and even constipation.
To combat autumn dryness, remember one word – moistness! Consume an appropriate amount of food that can nourish the yin and relieves dryness, such as pear, snow fungus, American ginseng, lily bulb, sesame, honey, loquat, dendrobium, sweet almond, sea coconut, polygonatum root and glehnia root.
Avoid sleeping late; avoid eating spicy and deep fried food, to prevent fluid loss. Limit the intake of spicy ingredients such as ginger, onion, garlic and chili, to avoid exhausting the yang energy. Drink rice water on a daily basis, as it can strengthen the functions of the spleen and stomach, which in turn can improve the absorption of the essence of ingredients, and moisten the lungs as well as nourish the yin.
