【蔬食者的葡萄酒】
講到葡萄酒與食物的搭配，通常都是動物性蛋白質，紅酒對紅肉白酒對白肉，那吃素的怎麼辦？
作為最容易搭配食物的酒種，葡萄酒當然不會讓人失望，可以搭配青菜的葡萄酒並不少，灰皮諾是其中的佼佼者。
一種釀酒葡萄常常有很多名字，灰皮諾在法國叫做Pinot Gris，在義大利叫做Pinot Grigio，在德國則被稱為Grauer Burgunder/Grauburgunder。
今天喝這支之前剛好做完阿爾薩斯數位酒展的樣品品嚐，對比一下比鄰的兩個葡萄酒大國對同一個品種的呈現手法：德國Pfalz的這一支不甜，酒體中等，酸度有支撐；法國的Grand Cru Pinot Gris則是微甜，酒體更飽滿稠密，香料氣息更濃，白胡椒味更明顯。
在我的經驗當中，灰皮諾對生菜沙拉與煮熟炒熟的蔬菜瓜果類搭配都不錯，搭配小魚莧菜更是一絕。如果是義大利便宜的灰皮諾，建議溫度要低一點。
Thankful for the (sorta) early weekend ❤️ Theres something about getting room service that I love.. I think it’s the rolling out of bed / not needing to dress to impress but you do anyway (for fun) that makes it much more memorable during this time. Last night’s dinner was splendid! We did the wine pairing dinner with @sofitelsingaporesentosa where the wine connoisseur himself came to explain and serve the wines he paired for the dishes you choose. We had a Pinot Grigio for the appetisers, Amarone for mains and a special Thyme cocktail to go with desserts.
Kudos to the team for trying to recreate the restaurant experience in the room, while it’s not entirely the same as they can’t be served course by course, the sincerity was heartfelt ❤️
Anyhoo, I don’t remember the food here to be THIS good but it is!!! Loved the burger and burrata from lunch & Angus ribeye, mushroom soup and prosciutto w/ Parma ham & burrata for dinz. Slurp!
