Coming back to The Pure Life Society brings back many memories for me as child
With a mom who instilled volunteer work in my siblings & I at a young age, we spent at least 2 weekends a month helping the orphans with their homework, playing badminton,congkak, & prepping for one of their biggest annual celebrations- Malam Muhibbah

It was always super fun sitting with the kids over the weekends making enormous colourful props such as Wau Bulan, lanterns & drawing the kolam
At this orphanage, each of our Malaysian culture is embraced & celebrated & almost 90% of the children,ALL speak Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese & Tamil. So cool right?! :)

Also a huge thank you to Mamee Malaysia for helping cater to this orphanage vegetarian needs.You guys are the best!

I had the privilege to be a part of Mamee Malaysia’s CSR campaign and distribute Mamee Care Packs to kids at The Pure Life Society
It was a humbling experience to be able to sit down and talk with the children as well as their caretakers
Such a great initiative from Mamee and it was heartwarming to see the smiles on the children’s faces!❤️

Actually tak tau kenapa aku takut kat budak-budak, tapi budak-budak yang suka aku. (Wow, yakinnya)

FYI, Haze actually dah lama ada hasrat nak amik anak angkat. Dari zaman uni lagi.

Tapi ramai sangat yang halang sampai aku naik bosan dengar.

"Eh kau tak tau, susah tau jaga budak" - Ada aku cakap senang ke?

"Lah buat lah anak sendiri banyak-banyak" - Ada nampak aku seperti seekor arnab yang aktif?

"Kau jaga anak aku? Aku pi bercuti" - Bila masa pulak aku bukak taska?

So last-last? Aku jadi uncle yang lawK dan bagi duit raya banyak buat anak-anak buah je lah.
