And until now, I’m still in disbelief that THE Tan Sri @shahrizatjalil invited me to her beautiful house 🙂

Maybe a lot of you didn’t know, so here’s a heads-up. I’m actually a Law graduate from University of Malaya. I left law school about 5 years ago. The reason why she had me over was to persuade me to join @parfum.alumni , and PARFUM stands for Persatuan Alumni Rumpun Fakulti Undang2 Malaya 😊

But little did she know, I’m up for it even before she said a thing cuz I was so starstruck by her haha! Such charisma ♥️

At first, I was kinda shy cuz you know, I’m a law grad but I’m not practicing. And honestly, I kinda feel left out cuz all (well majority of my friends) are practicing lawyers now. But the thing Tan Sri told me really hit me hard and made me see the bigger picture.

She said,
“Why are you shy? You shouldn’t! You should be proud instead! And this is exactly why we want you in! Having a law degree does not necessarily mean you NEED to be in the legal fraternity. You can do a whole lot of other things WITH your law degree! And fyi, you’re the first one to be approached by us!”

I was so overwhelmed by her kind words. Nearly brought me to tears! But, what she said is very true.

What you study during your degree does not determine what you’ll become. Allahyarham Sudirman Hj Arshad was a Malaya law grad too. And he became a singer. A very famous one as a matter of fact! And hey! He’s my super duper senior!!
.
No knowledge is ever a waste of time. And this may sound cocky but please don’t get me wrong. I think one of the reasons why I won 2 reality shows is because of the ‘trainings’ I had in law school. And UM, I am proud to carry your name!

For me, I always believe in this one thing;
“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” -UA♥️
