以往不少 Apple Watch 救人一命的新聞，多數是手錶提示佩戴者的心率有問題，建議他們盡快求醫檢查。日前挪威媒體報導的個案，情況就有點不同，67 歲男士因 Apple Watch Series 4 新增的跌倒偵測功能撿回性命。
挪威媒體 NRK 報導，Toralv Østvang 日前被救護員發現躺在家中浴室，流血和失去知覺。Østvang 接受訪問時表示自己在浴室跌倒，是 Apple Watch 自動為他報警，他的女兒補充父親在半夜上廁所，突然暈倒，Østvang 跌倒造成面部 3 處骨折。女兒指父親不會帶手機上廁所，要不是戴了 Apple Watch，後果不堪設想。
跌倒偵測功能會為 65 歲以上使用者自動啟動，Apple Watch 會在偵測到跌倒時，要求用戶回應，如果 1 分鐘後沒有獲得回應，系統就會自動報警，並提供佩戴者的位置。挪威警方就是收到求救，然後找到受傷昏迷的 Østvang。這並非跌倒偵測功能第一次救人一命，2018 年 10 月就有一名瑞典人因跌倒弄傷背部，靠 Apple Watch 報警獲救。

現在是長輩跌倒會自動通報
實在是蠻優秀的產品
不曉得其它智慧手錶是否也有這些功能呢？
