Our beloved Maeleth turns 64 months today! This adorable plushie is a new gift that caused her face to light up with a huge smile.
The past few weeks, after Singapore announced the phase 2 (heightened alert) due to increasing cases of infections, Mae and I have been home all the while, not even leaving home once because there was no need to. Thankfully, she is a homely girl, just like her parents. 😆

Gotta really thank my love Amilee for going out to run errands, get groceries, buy back meals, come back home to cook dinner, do laundry and more while I work from home and keep my eye on Mae. ❤️

Mae has been having home-based learning (HBL) classes with her teachers through Zoom, so she is not missing out on learning. Even art class at HeART Studio Singapore continues online, and I must say, the techniques Mae learnt there really helps her to do nice art works for school. For example, see the photos below of some artworks that she did at home.
Abacus enrichment class resumes on Monday through Zoom as well, so that will be interesting to watch. HBL is quite an eye-opener because now Amilee and I get to see the kind of content she learns at school, and it allows us to be even more involved with her education! 👍

一直有很多人詢問：Gigi老師，你那個美麗的便當盒是在那裡買的?
今天來告訴大家，甚麼叫做 #為了喝牛奶養了一頭牛

我曾經拿過一個專門做輸日便當盒的工廠做的雙層便當盒。
一開始覺得它很可愛，比起方形或圓型....我更喜歡橢圓的便當盒；拿在手裡圓潤，不像圓型便當盒有一點難裝，又不容易找到合適的提袋。
在我當時的心目中，它就是最完美的便當盒 ~~
直到有一天我想要拿去微波。

嗯，日本人都吃冷便當，真的沒有在跟你微波加熱的，所以這個便當盒完全不能微波😭
這樣如果我想要做一些熱呼呼才好吃的飯菜時不就很兩難了嗎~~~~我就很偏執的上了各大拍賣網找了可以微波的這種款式的便當盒．．．．．．沒有！完全找不到！類似款又不如我心中完美的模樣….

所以我就決定自己去找工廠訂做可以微波的便當盒，而且很堅持要跟我之前愛用的那個便當盒外型一模一樣。我的便當大業才能永續的分享便當分享愛。

很多人都說我瘋了，我也這麼覺得
為了一個合意的便當盒，我現在擁有500個便當盒....
確實是瘋了。
但有人跟我說：天才通常都是帶點瘋狂。(我知道她只是在安慰我，但我感覺好多了😂)

#關於這個便當盒

目前最多人的疑問就是：
為什麼Gigi老師你這次會做藍色的便當盒？
有其他顏色可以選嗎？
我先回答第二個問題： 沒有

會選擇藍色，其實與我個人的料理配色強迫症有關。
一般來說食物最常出現的色彩偏暖色系：米白、黃、橙、褐、紅...，再來就是葉菜的綠色調，藍色的食物較為少數。
以佔比最多的黃、紅來說，對比就是藍、綠，但是綠色會強碰蔬菜的顏色，所以當然是藍色勝出。

我自己有用照片記錄便當的習慣，希望它們都能散發出『吃下這個便當的人能夠獲得滿滿的元氣💪』的感覺，所以能襯托出鮮明活力感的便當盒是很重要的。

然後有在拍照的人應該都遇過肉眼和鏡頭還有顯示器，有時候顏色會對不太起來的情況......，當初希望這個便當盒完成品是舒服又高級的藍色，在看色卡和樣板時差點沒有脫窗，希望它的質感能像經典一樣，用好幾年都不退流行。

畢竟一次擁有500個已經很夠了，應該這輩子不可能再重來一次，希望可以用的長長久久😌❤

【 Gigi's sweet tips 】
💙 首次使用記得『開盒』清除脫模油，可放入微波爐內中火5分鐘，取出後用中性洗滌劑清洗乾淨即可。(電鍋法請參考下面電鍋加熱方式)
💙 請用中性洗滌劑，配合柔軟海綿，就是一般菜瓜布黃色那一面。長期用粗的那面洗會有刮痕，容易藏汙納垢喔～
💙 束帶算消耗品，常使用或清洗容易變鬆，所以我每個便當盒都附兩條可隨時替換著用。🤗
💙 日式便當盒非完全密閉，攜帶時請平放避免湯汁測漏。
💙 若使用電鍋加熱請務必墊鐵架在下面，勿讓便當盒直接接觸電鍋底部，建議加熱最久3分鐘。
💙 請避免過度加熱，尤其過油過甜的食物，以防食物中成份使便當盒染色。

You shall difficult to find this kind indigo color in the whole market. It produced by me, for my master cooking class and personal dream. Therefore, it’s Limited Edition for only 500 Boxes, and never to re-produce again! The indigo color will be the best contrast to present your food in the picture.

My name is Gigi. I'm also an Art Gallery Owner. I have several self-brands, but there isn’t any trademark to be printed on the bento box. It is completely PURE production just for a little dream to present our daily life wonderful.

Hi, my name's Lyn- Lai Lyn, I'm 24.
Currently freelance as an architect, a graphic designer, a photographer, a content creator and a "Lil studio Lynl's Academy Art Class" Lead art teacher.
I am -I mean me and my lovely Lynl's Academy team are from a tiny town called Bien Hoa.
One of my major plans for the class is redesigning the interior since it is not the most eye-pleasing sight.
The "study routine" for Lynn students is as enjoyable as it can get for a class because it's base on their mood.
I teach them how to be real with our feeling, whoever we are, wherever we in and the diversity is crazy. My goal is to help them know who they are, heal the student souls from all the barricades and develop their art skill at the same time. Basically, Im not running around the class to teach them how to draw but to help students print their feeling and thought on the paper because nothing is scarier than a blank piece of paper.
So I am trying to reach out to as many kids as possible to let them know that they are not alone.

Hmm....Continue from Part 1, this vblog for Part 2️⃣ ~ SiennyLovesDrawing?? gonna sharing her own self day makeup ???practice in the workshop, how she did it from theory learnt & then seek guidance from instructor ??‍? to complete her day makeup ?

Personally she enjoyed this focus & personal guidance by instructor to help & guide on unsure application of theory to practice. For example, as shared in her vblog, she made mistakes on eyebrows drawing & contouring. Then, instructor has helped & provide clear explanation in guiding her for correct way. Sharing some of the makeup tips learnt from the instructor,
- Don't be lazy, must clean/ wash each makeup brushes & tools used after makeup done. This is important to ensure long live usage then
- Don't ever soak your brushes while cleaning them, brushes will be spoilt
- Use of fingers for makeup application as fingers with body heat, so warm to apply shimmer on eyes & stay beautifully from 1st apply
- Use a harder brush to apply concealer when it aims for makeup correction
- When foundation too bright, do use a darken tone loose powder to balance the skin tone, vice versa
- Do apply baby oil on fake lashes 1st, it will get soften & easier to remove the lashes. Also stop the sticky from lashes glue with baby oil application. She has tried it, it works wonder. If your lashes remain pretty after being removed, do keep it for 2nd use

Ohh ya...She has gained an impressive moment before the workshop. She loves the personal reminder sent from the organizer, MPH Publishing to her WhatsApp few days before this workshop with notes for her pre-preparation before attendance as listed below,
• All makeup products & tools, including eyelashes will be provided
• To ensure face is bare, cleansed, toned & moisturized before the workshop begins. This is to avoid waste of time of removing makeup during the workshop.
• To also bring own daily make-up items so that instructor can share some advices
• To bring own hairbands/ hairpins to hold own hair for the makeup practice in the workshop
• To bring your own makeup removal, facial cleanser & towel if wish to remove makeup after
