When you are doing yoga, the whole body, not only the physical parts but also the organs, is stretching. The twisting poses like waist twisting, side waist stretching, shoulderstand or headstand, are good for digestion and pupu.
Imagine you seat in the office all day and all your organs are stuck together and kinda work slowly. This type of poses encourages the working function of stomach and intestines.
Howevet, if you have other problems or serious one, you should really go to doctor.
