Sometimes when we are done with one part of the show, we'll take a big group photo with our guests. This shot was taken in Beidou, Changhua County, at a place where we learned to make delightfully chewy meat dumplings. Everyone got in on this shot, including the woman who assembles the dumplings and our producer's mother. So who is who? Any guesses?

(English Follows) 一段難忘的旅程，就像一杯好喝的咖啡，讓人回味無窮。這次「勝利催落去」出了一個很特別的任務，要帶我們的朋友，也就是台灣首位國際認證的視障咖啡師－小箴，離開臺北去尋找咖啡靈感。

跑了很多地方也認識了很多咖啡人之後，留下最深刻的印象就是聽障拉花冠軍阿中，他很大方地教小箴拉花的技巧，完全不擔心我們把他的祕訣學走，而且他讓小箴克服視覺障礙，一起製作了一杯好喝有好看的咖啡。在這個過程中，我發現兩位咖啡師沖出來的一杯杯咖啡，不純粹是在服務客人或在耍技巧，而是在分享對人生的態度與珍惜。

回來臺北之後，我一直想著這兩位令人佩服的咖啡達人，一個靠眼睛，一個靠耳朵，而他們共同的語言就是咖啡。當我看到他們一起拉出那一杯咖啡的時候，就決定為兩位製作拉花的放大版，用的是咖啡粉與豆子，希望他們以後都可以聞得到與摸得到這令人感動的回憶。

An unforgettable journey, like a good cup of coffee, stays with you for a long time. Recently we embarked on a trip that left a lasting impression on me, a trip that centers on coffee as a theme. Our friend Hsiao Chen is Taiwan’s first internationally certified barista who is visually impaired. She’s been having a tough time with her café lately, so we decided to bring on a trip to find a little inspiration.

We traveled all over Taiwan in search of not just good cups of coffee, but also creative baristas, local foods, a challenge or too, and even coffee trees! But perhaps the most unforgettable part of our adventure was meeting a hearing impaired “latte art” champion by the name of Ah Chung. At his café in Chungli, Ah Chung guided Hsiao Chen through the process of making latte art, and helped her transcend the limits of her vision to find success. I was particularly moved not just by his generosity of both skill and spirit, but also by their ability (despite the odds) to find a common language: the language of coffee.

After returning to Taipei, all I could think about was their interaction at Ah Chung’s café that day. I decided to capture the moment by creating two large paintings of their latte art, one for each of them. Coffee grounds and whole beans were used in the pieces to enable Hsiao Chen and others who are visually impaired to appreciate their latte art creations via the senses of touch and smell. <3
