【補氣淮山米水】
功效:健脾補氣,紓緩感覺疲倦、容易反覆腹瀉等症狀。
材料:紅米1湯匙、白米1湯匙、生薏米半湯匙、乾淮山15克
做法:材料洗淨,加入800毫升水以武火煮滾後轉文火煮30分鐘即可。此米水可煮後倒入保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。
【Rice water with Chinese yam】
Effects: strengthens the spleen and nourishes qi, relieves fatigue or frequent diarrhea
Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of red rice, 1 tbsp. of white rice, ½ tbsp. of raw coix seeds, 15g dried Chinese yam
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and rice water can be re-brewed until flavor weakens.
【黨參白术茯苓茶】
功效:補脾益氣,紓緩肺氣虛弱的咳嗽、呼吸不暢等症狀。
材料:黨參12克、白术9克、茯苓9克
做法:材料洗淨,加入800毫升水以武火煮滾後轉文火煮30分鐘即可。此茶煮後倒入保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:感冒咳嗽、有偏熱症狀如喉嚨痛、黃痰等不宜。
【Codonopsis root tea with atractylodes rhizome and poria】

Ingredients: 12g codonopsis root, 9g atractylodes rhizome, 9g poria
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and tea can be re-brewed until flavor weakens.
Notes: Not suitable for those with cold/flu and cough, heat-related symptoms such as sore throat and yellow phlegm
【無花果沙參燉梨】
功效:生津潤燥,紓緩肺燥乾咳,口乾、無痰或痰黏等症狀。
材料:雪梨1個、杏仁12克、乾無花果2枚、沙參12克、冰糖適量
做法:
1. 除冰糖外,將材料洗淨,雪梨將頂部位置切開,挖去梨芯。沙參切成小段。
2. 在梨中心加入無花果杏仁沙參及冰糖,蓋上梨蓋後用牙籤固定,放入大碗中。
3. 鍋底加入水及蒸架,用武文煮滾水,放入梨,用文火隔水蒸燉1小時即成。
備註:脾胃虛寒、風寒感冒咳嗽人士不宜。
【Steamed pear with radix adenophorae】
Effects: promotes fluid production and relieves dryness, reliees dry lung and dry cough, dry mouth, lack of phlegm or sticky phlegm.
Ingredients: 1 pear, 12g almond, 2 dried figs, 12g radix adenophorae, appropriate amounts of rock sugar
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients except rock sugar thoroughly. Cut off the top of the pear and remove the core. Cut radix adenophorae into pieces.
2. Add in figs, almond, radix adenophorae and rock sugar into the core of the pear. Put the top of the pear back on and stabilize using toothpicks. Place the pear onto a large bowl.
3. Add water to wok and place the steam rack in. Cook on high heat until water is boiling and put in the bowl with pear. Steam on low heat for 1 hour.
Note: not suitable for those with asthenic cold spleen and stomach, cold-wind flu cold cough.
【藿香茯苓陳皮茶】
功效:行氣化濕,紓緩因為痰濕引致的頭身困重、疲倦不堪的症狀。
材料:藿香6克、白豆蔻3克、茯苓9克、陳皮1角
做法:材料洗淨,加入800毫升水以武火煮滾後轉文火煮30分鐘即可。此茶煮後倒入保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:陰虛人士不宜飲用。

Effects: dispels dampness and promotes qi circulation, relieves heaviness of head and body, fatigue due to phlegm and dampness
Ingredients: 6g patchouli, 3g cardamom, 9g poria, 1 dried citrus peel
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and tea can be re-brewed until flavor weakens.
Note: Not suitable for those with yin deficiency
【桔梗厚樸陳皮茶】
功效:燥濕化痰,紓緩外感引起的胸悶、白天咳嗽較嚴重、痰多色白、肢體睏倦等症狀。
材料:桔梗3克、厚樸6克、杏仁6克、陳皮3克
做法:材料洗淨,加入800毫升水以武火煮滾後轉文火煮30分鐘即可。此茶煮後倒入保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。
【Radix Platycodi tea with magnolia bark and dried citrus peel】
Effects: dispels dampness and clears phlegm, relieves chest tightness caused by cold/flu, severe cough in the morning, white and excessive phlegm, fatigue
Ingredients: 3g radix platycodi, 6g magnolia bark, 6g almond, 3g dried citrus peel
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Steam on low heat for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and tea can be re-brewed until flavor weakens.
【魚腥草甘羅漢果茶】
功效:清熱解毒、化痰止咳,適合煙酒過多、咳嗽有黃綠稠痰、經常熬夜人士飲用。
材料:魚腥草12克、甘羅漢果半個
做法:材料洗淨,甘羅漢果壓扁、魚腥草切段備用。鍋內加入約1500毫升水,放入材料,武火煮滾後調文火煮30分鐘,把茶連渣倒進保溫瓶即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡,建議一星期飲用2-3天。
備註:腎功能不全、尿頻、虛寒體質者及孕婦不宜飲用。
【Monk fruit tea with fishwort】
Effect: clears heat and detoxifies, reduces phlegm and relieves cough. Suitable for those who smoke and drink, with yellow, green and thick phlegm, and with frequent late nights.
Ingredients: 12g fishwort, half of a monk fruit
Method: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Squash the monk fruit. Cut fishwort into pieces. Combine all ingredients with 1500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour all contents into a thermos and tea can be re-brewed until flavour weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 2-3 days.
Note: It is not suitable for those with weak kidney function, frequent urination, with asthenic cold body type and pregnant women.
【太子參薄荷茶】
功效:補氣健脾,清利頭目。紓緩氣短、勞累及改善鬱悶心情。
材料:太子參10克、青瓜4片、青檸汁少許、新鮮薄荷葉5-6片、冰糖適量
做法:
1. 除青檸汁和冰糖外,所有材料洗淨,青瓜切片備用。
2. 鍋內加入約800毫升水,放入太子參,以武火煮至水滾,調文火煮約30分鐘,加入青瓜、薄荷葉、冰糖。煮5分鐘,最後下青檸汁調味即可。
【Radix pseudostellariae tea with mint】
Effects: nourishes qi and strengthens the spleen, improves vision and dizziness, and relieves shortness of breath, fatigue and poor mood
Ingredients: 10g radix pseudostellariae, 4 slices of cucumber, a little amount of lime juice, 5-6 slices of fresh mint, appropriate amounts of rock sugar
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients except lime juice and rock sugar thoroughly. Cut cucumber into pieces.
2. Combine radix pseudostellariae with 800ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Then add cucumber, mint and rock sugar to boil for 5 minutes. Add lime juice to taste.
【黨參麥冬防風茶】
功效:補益肺氣。強身防病、紓緩容易反覆感冒體質及鼻敏感症狀。
材料:黨參10克、麥冬10克、防風6克、蜂蜜適量
做法:除蜂蜜外,材料洗淨,加入800毫升水以武火煮滾後轉文火煮30分鐘即可。此茶煮後倒入保溫瓶,反覆沖泡至味淡。
備註:身體有偏熱症狀、感冒未清者不宜飲用。
【Fangfeng tea with codonopsis root and radix ophiopogonis】
Effects: nourishes lung qi, improves immunity system, relieves frequent cold/flu or nasal allergies
Ingredients: 10g codonopsis root, 10g radix ophiopogonis, 6g fangfeng, appropriate amounts of honey

CheckCheckCin:中醫主張辨證論治,意思是根據症狀辨清病因及治療方案,每個人體質不同,沒有一條藥方可以適合所有人,所以不建議胡亂使用偏方,有可能治病不成反而加重病情。想強身防病,可以從健脾祛濕著手,香港人普遍多痰濕,主要因為嗜吃生冷甜膩食物、常躲在冷氣房、久坐不動,加上氣候潮濕,如果你發現舌頭白色濕潤黏膩、大便黏馬桶又異常地臭、常感到疲倦及胸悶胃脹,就是身體有濕的警號。
「脾主運化」,只要脾功能良好,就能運化水濕,令濕氣不易囤積。建議平日少吃油膩、生冷食物、凍飲及甜品,多吃健脾化濕的食物如白米、赤小豆、淮山、薏米、扁豆衣、番薯等,每天飲一杯米水,都可以有助強健脾胃,驅走濕氣。定時做適量運動,亦有助身體排汗祛濕。
藿香豆蔻陳皮茶
功效:化濕行氣,理氣健脾,紓緩因為痰濕引致頭身困重、疲倦不堪的症狀。
材料:藿香6克、白豆蔻3克、陳皮1角
做法:材料洗淨,鍋中加入約800毫升水,加入材料,武火煮滾後調中火煮約20分鐘即可。建議一星期連續飲用3天。

Strengthen the spleen to dispel dampness to prevent pneumonia
“There have been a lot of various online rumors about how to prevent against Covid-19. Are they suitable for all ages?”
CheckCheckCin: Chinese medicine states that you need to find out the cause and correct treatment according to the symptoms. Everyone has different body conditions. There is no singular formula that is suitable for everyone. Therefore, it is not recommended to use folk medicine indiscriminately. If you want to strengthen your body and prevent disease, you can start with strengthening the spleen and dispelling dampness. People in Hong Kong generally have phlegm and dampness body type because they like to eat cold/raw and oily food, spend significant time in air-conditioned rooms, sit without moving for long periods of time, and climate is humid. If you find that your tongue is white, damp and sticky, your stool sticks to the toilet and is unusually smelly, you feel fatigue, chest tightness, stomach bloating, those are the warning signs that there is dampness in the body.
The spleen transports fluid to ensure dampness does not stagnate in the body. Have less oily and cold/raw food, drink and dessert. Eat more ingredients that can strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness such as rice, rice bean, Chinese yam, coix seeds, hyacinth bean coat and sweet potato. Drink a cup of rice water daily to strengthen the spleen and stomach to dispel dampness. Exercising regularly can also help encourage sweating and dispel dampness.
Patchouli tea with cardamom and dried citrus peel
Effects: dispels dampness and promotes qi circulation, regulates qi and strengthens the spleen, relieves relieve heaviness of head and body, fatigue due to phlegm and dampness
Ingredients: 6g patchouli, 3g cardamom, 1 dried citrus peel
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Combine all ingredients with 800ml of water and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to medium heat and cook for another 20 minutes.
For best results, drink consecutively for 3 days a week.

小荳蔻(Small cardamom,Elettaria cardamomum/ Amomum cardamomum)
薑科(Zingiberaceae)小荳蔻屬(Elettaria)
學名:Elettaria cardamomum/ Amomum cardamomum
別名:綠荳蔻
Elettari意為坦米爾語(Tamil)的荳蔻種子,通常豆蔻(cardamoms)內含多種薑科堅果,主
要是小荳蔻屬、豆蔻屬(Amomum)和非洲豆蔻屬(Aframomum),其中以小荳蔻最為重要,它
精油量高、香氣足,在80%全球市場都是最受歡迎且最高價的香料[1-2]。
小荳蔻是“香料之后”,散發迷人香氣且味美,價格僅次番紅花和香草,廣泛分布在印度
、瓜地馬拉、斯里蘭卡、尼泊爾、印尼、哥斯大黎加、墨西哥和坦尚尼亞等地。可生長至
2-5 m,盛開的白花以桃紅條紋點綴,豆莢於花期後約120天成熟,莢色由綠轉金黃,豆莢
因基因差異可能含12-32顆種子[3]。
【生理活性】
小荳蔻精油含量約0.2-8.7%/乾重[3],南印度小荳蔻精油成分有桉葉油醇(1,8-cineole,
28.94%)、α-乙酸萜品酯(α-terpinyl acetate,26.7%)、α-萜品醇(α-terpineol,
14.6%)、香檜烯(sabinene,13.5%)、橙花醇(nerol,5.0%)和α-蒎烯(α-pinene,
2.4%)[4]。
冷壓小荳蔻籽油由49.2%油酸(oleic acid)、26.4%棕櫚酸(palmitic acid)和15.2%的亞麻
油酸(linoleic acid)組成[5]。
民俗療法
緩解氣喘、反胃、腹瀉、白內障、牙周病、高血壓,以及泌尿道、腸胃、腎和心臟的不適
。西元前4世紀阿育吠陀和古希臘、羅馬的醫生便會使用小荳蔻治療各種疾病,例如:支
氣管炎、氣喘、便祕、感冒、咳嗽、肺阻塞、結核病或眼周的刺激,且可利尿、驅風。[3
、6]
傳統中醫治便秘、胃痛、泌尿道感染和痢疾[7-8];阿育吠陀常使用在食物中毒的治療。
和丁香、薑、藏茴香混合粉碎能減輕消化不良[9]。可解蛇毒和蠍毒;口服攝取能緩和發
炎和頭痛[9],也能有效地止咳化痰、抑制黏液分泌[3]。咀嚼小荳蔻種子可使口氣清新、
壓抑反胃和消化不良。加入咖啡中飲用在阿拉伯世界非常普遍,能舒緩頭痛和壓力。在西
藏地區,混合小荳蔻、肉桂和長胡椒用於治療肥胖、血糖失衡,及肝、腎和心臟疾病。據
說喝種子沖泡茶有壯陽和減少疲勞功效,可是也有頻繁攝取小荳蔻會陽痿的說法。每日持
續攝取蜂蜜+小荳蔻能改善視力。[3]
抗癌
每日口服0.5%小荳蔻水溶液100 mL持續8周的大腸癌小鼠,檢視分析肝和腸組織發現可抗
氧化的穀胱甘肽-S-轉移酶(glutathione-S-transferases)活性增加25-64%,也減少
50-86%的過氧化脂質[10]。
每日餵食10 μL小荳蔻精油持續14天的小鼠[11],能顯著減少肝臟中細胞色素P450
(cytochrome P450) 30%、增加穀胱甘肽-S-轉移酶活性30%和可抗氧化的酸可溶硫醇物
(acid-soluble sulfhydryl)含量30%,降低發展成癌細胞機率。
護腎、大腦
誘發氧化壓力前連續口服1周100和200 mg/kg b.wt.埃及小荳蔻蒸氣蒸餾精油,誘發後再
持續口服26周的大鼠,可顯著降低腎和腦部的氧化壓力、50%脂質過氧化,增加抗氧化酵
素活性[6]。
抗發炎
在誘發後爪腫脹前1小時腹腔注射175-280 μl/kg b.wt.小荳蔻精油的大鼠,能有效抑制
腫脹大小69.2-86.4%;注射劑量30 mg/kg b.wt.的止痛藥—吲哚美辛(Indomethacin)能抑
制76.0%[12]。
殺蟲
番茄潛旋蛾(Tuta absoluta)是番茄、馬鈴薯或其他茄科的主要害蟲。伊朗小荳蔻水蒸餾
精油對番茄潛旋蛾蟲卵、幼蟲和成蟲暴露24小時的IC50分別為351.19、1.55-7.88和1.87
μL/L air[13]。使用的小荳蔻精油含乙酸萜品酯(terpinyl acetate,36.61%)、桉葉油
醇(30.42%)、乙酸芳樟酯(linalyl acetate,5.79%)和香檜烯(4.85%)。
抗過敏
根據大鼠細胞研究[14],0.5 mg/mL小荳蔻己烷和酒精萃取物分別能抑制細胞過敏釋放的
組織胺66.85%和36.50%,具有中度和低度潛在抗過敏功效;藍膠尤加利葉(Eucalyptus
globulus)己烷和酒精萃取物能抑制84-85%,50 μM的槲皮素(quercetin)可抑制81.24%。
止痛
在誘發疼痛扭動前1小時腹腔注射133-400 μl/kg b.wt.小荳蔻精油的小鼠[12],可顯著
降低扭動次數、減少痛感,在劑量233和400 μl/kg b.wt.時分別能抑制50%和100%的痛覺
。
緩解腹瀉
在蓖麻油和硫酸鎂誘發腹瀉前1小時,先餵食10 mL/kg b.wt.小荳蔻熱水萃取物的小鼠,
可部分避免腹瀉[15]。蓖麻油組的小鼠,在誘發後3小時內明顯有效,4-6小時無顯著差異
;而硫酸鎂組僅在3-6小時顯著見效。
抗痙攣
2 cm白兔腸經過前處理後,浸於200-900 nL的小荳蔻精油中,抑制腸自發性運動的表現隨
精油濃度增加而更明顯;也可抑制以乙醯膽鹼誘發的腸痙攣,實驗顯示400 nL的小荳蔻精
油功效等同3 μg的抗痙攣藥—阿托平(Atropine) [12]。
可能風險
小鼠腹腔注射50-1,600 mL/kg b.wt.小荳蔻精油觀察6小時未發現有顯著異常行為[12]。
45隻小鼠分組持續7天口服小荳蔻酒精萃取物0.003-3 mg/g b.wt.,結果0.3 mg/g b.wt.
這組有明顯的體重下降;劑量3 mg/g b.wt.在7天後48小時有小鼠死亡[16]。
【芳療功效】
1 mL的5%小荳蔻精油軟膏(30%酒精)塗抹於大鼠腹部、白兔和成人皮膚5-30分鐘的體外研
究表示[17],小荳蔻精油軟膏能顯著提升止痛藥—吲哚美辛的經皮吸收率,且使用人工調
製模擬的小荳蔻精油仍有相同功效。在活體白兔腹部皮膚也能再現相似效果,塗抹後5分
鐘每隔2小時抽血檢測發現,血漿中吲哚美辛濃度顯著增加至2-4倍至少持續12小時。使用
的精油組成有桉葉油醇(59.3%)、檸烯(d-limonene,29.0%)、α-蒎烯(6.5%)、β-蒎烯(
β-pinene,6.5%)和α-萜品醇(0.4%)。
30位健康大學生參與試驗[18],受試者吸嗅小荳蔻精油1分鐘後,使用跑步機以90.5
m/minute速率持續15分鐘,每隔3分鐘記錄生理參數並吸嗅精油1分鐘。結果吸嗅小荳蔻能
刺激運動表現,更容易增加心率和交感神經活性;數據顯示有氧能力、最大攝氧量、呼氣
高峰流量(peak expiratory flow rate)和體適能指數(physical fitness index)顯著提
升,整體心肺功能表現較佳。
75位乳癌患者隨機分成精油按摩、吸嗅精油和控制組3組[19]。按摩組化療前接受20分鐘
的2 mL複方精油瑞典式足底按摩;吸嗅精油組在化療前自然呼吸2 mL複方精油持續3分鐘
。結果比起一般控制組,使用精油芳療的按摩和吸嗅組能顯著改善化療過程中導致的乾嘔
、反胃和噁心感,其中又以按摩組表現最為理想。使用的複方精油含2%胡椒薄荷、1%佛手
柑和1%小荳蔻,以甜杏仁油稀釋。
小荳蔻精油按摩或沐浴能有效提神、強身,並舒緩消化系統和喉嚨不適[20-21]。
