An Old-School Chinese Restaurant that can Bring You Back to 1962!? “Yum Cha” is originated in the Canton province. Nowadays, you can find it in many places around the world. It’s also one of the most iconic cuisines of Canton. “Yam Cha” can be categorized as “morning tea”, “afternoon tea”, or “night tea”. Long Wa Teahouse serves “morning tea”, so it only opens till 2pm in the afternoon
.
Traditional Cantonese teahouse are not easy to find today. Long Wa Teahouse has been in business since 1960. We are very lucky to have such a great place to enjoy traditional tea and dim sum in Macau. Walking into Long Wa makes me feel like I am traveling back in time to an unfamiliar era that is full of stories
.
Recommendation:
“Ginger and Green Onion Chicken Rice” – The chicken is tender and juicy. The Ginger and Green onion sauce gives it a distinct scent and flavor. Very addictive.
“Steamed Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce” – A very simple and well known dish. It’s a perfect match for a bowl of white rice.
“Barbeque Pork Bun” – The bun is soft and fluffy, and the Cantonese style barbeque pork is sweet and savory. It’s a must have if you want a traditional “Yum Cha” experience.

You can Find the “Old Fashion” Urn-roasted Chicken in Macau Now!
.
Urn-roasted Chicken is a traditional dish originated in Canton-Chaozhou and Southern Fujian. The chicken is roasted inside a kiln made pot. This restaurant has experimented the cooking method hundreds of times and finally came up with this unbeatable recipe. They also add some Chinese medicine ingredients to the chicken, so the dish is even more unique and healthy
.
Both of the “Original” Chicken & “Danggui” Chicken have a distinct flavor. They are both very tender and juicy, it’s quite difficult to describe the taste in words. The “Original” one has a stronger garlic taste and the “Danggui” one has a Chinese medicine scent
.
If you are not ready to take on a whole chicken, you can order their Urn-roasted Chicken thighs and wings. Spicy lovers can also try their chili power on the chicken, it has a pretty nice “kick”. I also love their chili marinated chill chicken feet during this hot summer time

.
I personally think that 陳玉華 chicken tastes better. Also, I ran into fewer Chinese tourists this time. Most of them are from HK, Macau and TW. Even some super popular long-lined places are slower now.

Video Title: Has KFC Conquered Asia?
"We’ve already covered McDonald’s on this channel, and, well, now it’s time for some KFC. Kentucky Fried Chicken is the world’s second largest restaurant chain after McDonald’s, with over 23000 outlets in more than 140 countries and territories around the world. Now recently, the number of KFC outlets has been declining in the US, but the company has actually continued to grow over in Asia. In fact, KFC’s largest market lies on this continent (we’ll get to that soon). KFC was founded on March 20th, 1930 in Kentucky, with its very first franchise opening in Utah in 1952. Just a year later it made its way to Canada; and in 1965 the first overseas franchise outside of North America opened in the UK. Now it’s from this point where KFC enters the Asian market (well before McDonald’s); and, in this video I’ll be taking you through the next 54 years of KFC's Asian ascension. So, which Asian country was the first to open a KFC? What did KFC have to sacrifice in order to compete with local markets? And how much of Asia is there still left to conquer, as of today? Indeed we’ll get to all of that, so grab a Zinger burger, maybe some drumsticks, and we’ll explore every Asian country to have ever had a KFC!...
