I've never been a nails girl. Ever since I started working as a full time miniaturist, I've been diligently cutting my nails and they're always neat and short.
But when I was introduced to @nailhavensg for my wedding nails, I was blown away. If you've been living in a mountain like me, you'll be happy to know that the pretty nail designs can now last thanks to gel technology, and for a long time! It's been a month since my nail grooming at Nail Haven and they're still in great shape! None of the little gems have dropped out, and the delicate brushwork details are perfectly intact.
It was my virgin manicure and pedicure experience, and midway I was thinking "so this is what Tai-tais do most of the time.. shiok!" The studio is cozily nestled in Chinatown, and it's a pretty little place, I almost fell asleep midway! My feet and hands were given a thorough soak in a lavender bath, and gently massaged before and after the session. I had both Fiona (owner of Nail Haven) and her staff working on me at the same time, and they were both meticulous, gentle and expert at their craft! We discussed what type of nails I wanted (a bit glittery, not too many protruding details, classic) and they got to work!
This is the end result, and I loved them all, all twenty of them nails! On my hands I had the classic white glittery nails, adorned with doily veils (they also look like little ferris wheels to me!). On my toes, I asked for a mint turquoise base, with Sakura flowers. Love them all! 💕
