Sometimes when you are eagerly waiting for something to happen, your joy gets confiscated by the future. You delay your happiness; meanwhile all the precious moments right now are taken for granted and wasted.

Reasons to rejoice right now:
- You have forgiveness of sins and God will never condemn you.
- You have Jesus and His Spirit lives forever in you.
- You have peace with God and you stand permanently in His grace.
- Your spirit already possessed eternal life. Your spirit can never be dead in sin again.
- Every loss that you suffer makes you eligible for restoration that is better in quantity and/or quality.
- Standing before Jesus’ throne for judgment means waiting there to see what eternal rewards you will receive. There is no punishment or remembrance of sins involved for believers.
Any of the above would be good enough to make you shout “Hallelujah!”
Let the reason for your rejoicing be the Lord Jesus, and not your circumstances. No one can take this truth away from you!
