DAY 8 - UK SIA RQF Level 3 Close Protection Operative. OFFENSIVE & DEFENSIVE DRIVING
This is the most intense action filled day I experienced over the course duration. Not only were we drilling foot work; we also had to combine that with:
1. Getting in and out of the car with the VIP & maneuvering the car during a normal situation
3. Getting in and out of the car with the VIP & maneuvering the car during a HOSTILE CONTACT SITUATION
Meet our instructor, Joel from @foxsssltd! He has 10 years military experience and he served as an army infantry sergeant and 8 years Close Protection experience. It gets even more exciting because we switch up roles every single drill and at quick speed. My advise to those who are going for this course, get used to Joel shouting at you in the background. He is training you not to crack under pressure to become a quality operative.
At the end of the day, I got burnt out trying to cope mentally and physically to his challenging training regime. You got to try this! This is what drives my dopamine levels sky high!
