去年聖誕節前的公司旅行,我們入住了台北市的Home Hotel Da-an,事實上,我之前已經入住過,發覺此精品酒店的家具設計很有特色,於是,這次入住前,我便冒昧問人家,可否安排與設計師們訪談。
本來想拍一條大概半小時的紀錄片的,但由於多方面的限制,最後我們只好濃縮,成為了這支兩分鐘的迷你紀錄片,是敝公司自己一腳踢的小製作。
希望透過此片,大家會對台灣的本地年輕家具設計師,有多一點的了解。
訪問當日,最深印象,是其中幾位都異口同聲說,從前台灣做很多代工,現在都沒有了,反而逼使年輕一代的家具製作人,更加積極尋找本地市場及其他海外市場的機會。
拍攝當日時間相當緊湊,兩組訪問要分AB組同時進行,打招呼、訪問、拍攝、收音,即場修稿,潤飾soundbite,再錄音,每個設計單位的訪問時間只有30分鐘左右。
所有同事都出盡洪荒之力,把自己的「刨冬瓜」(普通話) 發揮到極致。
明明是公司旅行,我的同事卻被我晨早7點叫醒然後去拍片,整個過程,還要在我的高壓趕鴨仔式的速度中進行拍攝。
希望大家見過鬼不會怕黑,希望下年還會有同事願意跟我去公司旅行。
《LIVE & LIVING 住的意義 | A Mini-Documentary》
This is a side project we produced in-house during our company trip in Taiwan in December 2016.
Home Hotel DaAn is an exquisite boutique hotel in Taipei. They have a special project named "In Bed with Design". Furnitures in a series of themed guest rooms were provided by various local Taiwan designers.
Each room has an unique homy character representing the taste and style of a designer group. On one hand, it is an unique way to showcase the local home decor designs to the visitors. On the other hand, whenever there is a guest staying in these special rooms, the hotel will share a portion of its income to the designated designer or its designer group.
This is what we learned from "Marketing 3.0" about brands that share values with communities or society. And this is the modern way to do marketing.
I stayed there once and returned again partly because of this reason. During my second visit, I brought my team to speak with six designers group and learned about stories behind their works.
I hope you'd like this video and will stay in one of these special designer guest rooms one day.
