Woke up at 5.30 am to go whale watching! We were incredibly lucky as we saw about 20 blue whales, a pod of striped dolphins and some sea turtles! It's a bittersweet experience to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat for it is a reminder that we may not be able to see them in the future as they are being hunted and are loosing the health of their home, the ocean. These animals belong in the wild. If you've seen 'The Cove' and 'Blackfish' you will already know about the inhumane treatment and suffering these beautiful creatures go through for our "entertainment". I will never ever support dolphin or whale shows and neither should you. #hanliinsrilanka #whalewatchers

SO SORRY FOR THE MANY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN THIS VIDEO! :( It’s my first time vlogging so I didn’t expect my memory card to be full on the fourth day of our trip!! Didn’t bring a spare battery as well and hence, my camera died in some parts. As such, some portions were random video clips taken with my iPhone 5S! :(

Last month, I decided to bring my family to Taiwan. It was their first time visiting Taiwan so I was stoked! Our first stop was Shilin Night Market, where my mum tried smelly tofu for the first time (yucks!!) The next day, we went on to explore the Rift Valley route of Hualien, the place that will always hold a special place in my heart.
