To enable smart public transport, ITRI cooperated with Hsinchu County Government, Yosemite Bus, Mobiletron Electronics Co., Ltd., and Maxwin Technology to provide self-driving electric bus shuttle service between Zhubei City downtown area and the nearby high-speed rail station. The service will be the first self-driving bus commercial route in Taiwan, bringing the development of autonomous vehicles to a new level.

北野白梅町駅（きたのはくばいちょうえき）
京福電気鉄道北野線
1943年（昭和18年）10月1日に白梅町駅として開業。
1958年（昭和33年）7月に今出川通の拡幅と京都市電今出川線の延伸に伴い北野 - 白梅町間は京都市電に路線を譲る形で休止し、当駅が終着駅となる。
同年9月16日に北野 - 白梅町間が廃止されるとともに、北野白梅町駅に改称。
2020年（令和2年）3月20日に新駅舎の全面供用、および、併設されたバス停に京都市営バス（市バス）が発着開始。
2017年度の一日平均乗降人員は3,436人。
乗車ホーム西端（帷子ノ辻方向）にバリアフリー対応の公衆トイレが設置され、京都市との協定により「観光トイレ」として位置づけられている。
三方（北・南・東）を道路に囲まれているため、当駅へは必ず信号つきの横断歩道を渡る必要がある。
