其實你的問題都是和“事實相反的假設語氣”有關
1 和現在事實相反的假設語氣
If I were you, I would commit suicide.
If I had one million dollars, I would donate it to the charity.
注意這裡的be動詞一定用were即使是單數
If he were you, he would slam me in the face.
簡單說就是if後面用過去式,主要子句用would + v
是說如果我是你 我會自殺
是說如果我現在有錢 我就捐給慈善機構
2 和過去事實相反的假設語氣
If I had been rick, I would have donated it to the charity.
If I had been you, I would have committed suicide.
是說我過去如果有錢我就會捐給慈善機構
是說如果我以前是你的話 我就會自殺
簡單說就是if後面用過去完成式,主要子句用would have + Ｖpp
注意had可以提到前面
Had I been rick, I would have donated it to the charity.
3 和未來事實相反的假設語氣
If the sun were to rise in the west, I would marry you.
如果太陽打西邊出來我就嫁給你
If後面用were to, 主要子句用would + v
4 表極不可能發生的假設語氣
If he shoud come, let me know.
萬一他來了告訴我
should可以提到前面
Should he come, let me know.

這題他今天已來所以應該用過去式

這題可以把I would buy當作主要子句
他用would表示和現在相反的假設語氣
所以but用現在式

: (B)unless she had got up earlier
: (C)but she got up rather late
: (D)but she had gotten up so late
這題如果用假設語氣
Mary might have come to shcool in time for xxx if she had gotten up earlier.
和過去事實相反的假設語氣
but後面要加過去式

和過去相反的假設語氣 except是對等連接
類似but後面用過去式
如果是假設語氣
會用 We would have arrived sooner if we had not had a flat tire. But we
had a flat tire.

這題he would是和現在相反的假設語氣
But for表示要不是因為有人家的協助他就要過的很慘

if not沒有動詞

這題表示他應該會來看你,我方反問他“如果他沒來呢”
what if表示如果他沒來怎麼辦
假設語氣是相當煩又難的
