兩年來，康君薇邊吃早餐邊看CNN報導，認識國際時事、新聞英文單字，每天讀專業科目前的必備步驟，是先花一到一點五小時閱讀英文報紙，考前四個月則每天練習中英翻譯、一周一篇作文，連休息時間都不忘逛「Eric's English Lounge」臉書粉專等。
